Vacation in the Heart of Nature Our hunting lodge “Schnepfenloch”, located in complete seclusion at the edge of the forest, is about 1 km from the guesthouse and offers you the opportunity for a simple overnight stay surrounded by nature. The spacious grounds also allow you to pitch an additional tent. The lodge has neither electricity nor TV, but it is equipped with modern propane lamps, a gas heater, and a gas stove. Sufficient dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils are available on site. Running water comes from a mountain spring, though its use is limited during the winter months. The gas installation has been modernized and meets current safety standards. On the ground floor, there is a common room with a large seating area and a couch, and in the attic there is sleeping space for four people (an additional person can sleep on the couch). Guests are required to bring their own sleeping bags. The area is surrounded by trees without obstructing the beautiful view of the picturesque valley. A small toilet cabin is also available. On the terrace in front of the lodge, you can barbecue and light a campfire in the fire pit. Firewood must be collected in the forest, and suitable tools are provided on site. In addition, high-quality outdoor furniture, a wooden table, and a deck chair are available. The hunting lodge is an ideal starting point for numerous activities. Explore the nature of the Thuringian Forest on marked hiking trails or visit the cultural landmarks of German Classicism, Romanticism, and Modernism.
Urlaub inmitten der Natur Unsere Jagdhütte „Schnepfenloch“ mit absoluter Alleinlage am Waldrand ist ca. 1 km vom Gästehaus entfernt und bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit einer schlichten Übernachtung inmitten der Natur. Das weitläufige Areal ermöglicht es Ihnen, auch ein zusätzliches Zelt aufzustellen. Die Jagdhütte hat weder Strom noch TV, ist aber dafür mit modernen Propangaslampen, einem Gasheizgerät und Gaskochfeld ausgestattet. Ausreichend Geschirr, Besteck und Kochutensilien befinden sich vor Ort. Fließend Wasser kommt aus einer Quelle vom Berg, deren Nutzung in den Wintermonaten eingeschränkt ist. Die Gasinstallation wurde modernisiert und entspricht den aktuell geforderten Sicherheitsnormen. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein Aufenthaltsraum mit großer Sitzecke und Couch und im Dachgeschoss ist eine Schlafmöglichkeit für 4 Personen gegeben (eine weitere Person kann auf der Couch schlafen). Für die Übernachtung müssen unsere Gäste einen Schlafsack mitbringen. Das Areal ist mit Bäumen umwachsen, ohne den wundervollen Ausblick ins malerische Tal zu schmälern. Ein Toilettenhäuschen ist auch vorhanden. Auf der Terrasse vor der Hütte kann man grillen und in einer Feuerschale ein Lagerfeuer entzünden. Das Brennholz muss im Wald geschlagen werden. Dafür finden Sie das passende Werkzeug vor Ort. Außerdem stehen eine hochwertige Sitzgruppe, Holztisch und Liegestuhl bereit. Die Jagdhütte bildet einen idealen Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Unternehmungen.
