Die römisch-katholische Filialkirche Mariä Himmelfahrt ist das geistliche Herzstück des kleinen Ortes Hetzlos, einem Ortsteil von Oberthulba im unterfränkischen Landkreis Bad Kissingen. Die Kirche gehört zur Pfarreiengemeinschaft St. Michael im Thulbatal. Errichtet wurde das heutige Gotteshaus im Jahr 1775 unter dem Würzburger Fürstbischof Lothar Franz von Erthal und am 14. September 1777 von Pfarrer Othmar Krißt aus Thulba geweiht. Zuvor war Hetzlos bereits seit dem 17. Jahrhundert als Filiale der Pfarrei Thulba kirchlich angebunden. In den Jahren 1962 bis 1965 wurde die Kirche umfassend renoviert. Dabei erhielt sie einen barocken Hochaltar aus dem Jahr 1736, geschaffen von Hans Georg Dechant. Im Mittelpunkt steht eine steinerne Madonna mit Kind aus dem Jahr 1775, flankiert von Figuren der Heiligen Sebastian und Georg. Über dem Altar thront das Wappen der Familie von Erthal, darüber die Darstellung der heiligen Barbara. Ein Schwelbrand im Jahr 1989 machte eine erneute Renovierung notwendig, die unter Pfarrer Karl Theodor Mauer erfolgte. Der kleine Dachreiter beherbergt zwei Glocken: eine kleine aus dem Jahr 1747 mit der Inschrift „Ave Maria gratia plena“ und eine größere, 1949 von Benjamin Grüninger in Villingen gegossene Glocke. Das Patrozinium der Kirche wird alljährlich am 15. August, dem Fest Mariä Himmelfahrt, feierlich begangen.
Kościół filialny Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny, należący do Kościoła rzymskokatolickiego, stanowi duchowe serce małej miejscowości Hetzlos, będącej częścią gminy Oberthulba w powiecie Bad Kissingen w Dolnej Frankonii. Kościół ten należy do wspólnoty parafialnej św. Michała w dolinie Thulba. Obecna świątynia została wzniesiona w 1775 roku za czasów książęcia-biskupa Würzburga Lothara Franza von Erthala, a 14 września 1777 roku poświęcona przez proboszcza Othmara Krißta z Thulby. Już wcześniej, od XVII wieku, Hetzlos należało do parafii Thulba jako jej filia. W latach 1962–1965 kościół został gruntownie odnowiony. Wówczas wyposażono go w barokowy ołtarz główny z 1736 roku, dzieło Hansa Georga Dechanta. W centrum znajduje się kamienna Madonna z Dzieciątkiem z 1775 roku, otoczona figurami świętych Sebastiana i Jerzego. Nad ołtarzem góruje herb rodziny von Erthal, a nad nim wizerunek świętej Barbary. Pożar tlący się w 1989 roku spowodował konieczność przeprowadzenia kolejnej renowacji, która odbyła się pod kierownictwem proboszcza Karla Theodora Mauera. W małej wieżyczce dachowej znajdują się dwa dzwony: mniejszy z 1747 roku z napisem „Ave Maria gratia plena” oraz większy, odlany w 1949 roku przez Benjamina Grüningera w Villingen. Święto patronackie kościoła obchodzone jest uroczyście co roku 15 sierpnia, w święto Wniebowzięcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny.
L'église filiale catholique romaine de l'Assomption est le cœur spirituel du petit village d'Hetzlos, un hameau d'Oberthulba situé dans l'arrondissement de Bad Kissingen, en Basse-Franconie. L'église fait partie de la communauté paroissiale de Saint-Michel dans la vallée de la Thulba. L'édifice actuel a été construit en 1775 sous le prince-évêque de Wurtzbourg Lothar Franz von Erthal, puis consacré le 14 septembre 1777 par le curé Othmar Krißt, de Thulba. Auparavant, Hetzlos était déjà rattaché à la paroisse de Thulba depuis le XVIIe siècle en tant que filiale. Entre 1962 et 1965, l’église a fait l’objet d’une rénovation complète. À cette occasion, elle a été dotée d’un maître-autel baroque datant de 1736, réalisé par Hans Georg Dechant. Au centre se trouve une Vierge à l’Enfant en pierre datant de 1775, flanquée des figures de saint Sébastien et de saint Georges. Au-dessus de l’autel trône le blason de la famille von Erthal, surmonté d’une représentation de sainte Barbe. Un feu couvant survenu en 1989 a rendu nécessaire une nouvelle rénovation, réalisée sous la direction du curé Karl Theodor Mauer. Le petit clocheton abrite deux cloches : une petite datant de 1747 portant l’inscription « Ave Maria gratia plena » et une plus grande, fondue en 1949 par Benjamin Grüninger à Villingen. La fête patronale de l'église est célébrée chaque année le 15 août, jour de l'Assomption.
The Roman Catholic branch church of the Assumption of Mary is the spiritual heart of the small village of Hetzlos, a district of Oberthulba in the Lower Franconian district of Bad Kissingen. The church belongs to the parish community of St. Michael in the Thulba Valley. The current church was built in 1775 under the Würzburg Prince-Bishop Lothar Franz von Erthal and consecrated on September 14, 1777, by Father Othmar Krißt of Thulba. Prior to this, Hetzlos had been part of the Thulba parish as a branch church since the 17th century. Between 1962 and 1965, the church underwent extensive renovation. During this time, it was fitted with a Baroque high altar dating from 1736, created by Hans Georg Dechant. At its center stands a stone Madonna and Child from 1775, flanked by figures of Saints Sebastian and George. The von Erthal family coat of arms is displayed above the altar, with a depiction of Saint Barbara above that. A smoldering fire in 1989 necessitated another renovation, which was carried out under Pastor Karl Theodor Mauer. The small ridge turret houses two bells: a small one from 1747 bearing the inscription “Ave Maria gratia plena” and a larger one cast in 1949 by Benjamin Grüninger in Villingen. The church’s patronal feast is solemnly celebrated annually on August 15, the Feast of the Assumption.
