For centuries, the Lower Castle was the residence of the lords and imperial counts of Lower Graz as well as of the Princes of Reuss of the older line. The Lower Castle houses a permanent exhibition, a textile exhibition workshop and changing special exhibitions. The permanent exhibition in the Lower Castle presents the continuation of the exhibition "From the Land of the Reeves to the Principality of Reuss of the Older Line" in authentic rooms from the 19th century. The highlight is the banqueting hall on the Beletage, the former representation and living rooms of the princes. Also worthy of mention are the gallery with conservatory and rooms of the sovereigns decorated with stucco and frieze band. The textile exhibition workshop deals with the history of the Greiz textile trade from its beginnings in 1450 to the industrial production of textiles. The show workshop is located in the former economic rooms of the court. Visitors can experience and feel the history of Greiz at hand looms, weaving machines and winding machines by actively participating in the production process.

Das Untere Schloss war über Jahrhunderte das Residenzschloss der Untergreizer Herren und Reichsgrafen sowie der Fürsten Reuß älterer Linie. Das Untere Schloss beherbergt eine Dauerausstellung, eine Textilschauwerkstatt sowie wechselnde Sonderausstellungen. Die Dauerausstellung im Unteren Schloss präsentiert die Fortsetzung der Ausstellung "Vom Land der Vögte zum Fürstentum Reuß ältere Linie" in authentischen Räumen aus dem 19. Jahrhundert. Das Glanzstück ist der Festsaal auf der Beletage, den ehemaligen Repräsentations- und Wohnräumen der Fürsten. Hervorzuheben sind außerdem die Galerie mit Wintergarten und mit Stuck und Friesband verzierte Räumlichkeiten der Landesherren. Die Textilschauwerkstatt befasst sich mit der Geschichte des Greizer Textilhandwerks von den Anfängen aus dem Jahr 1450 bis zur industriellen Fertigung der Textilien. Die Schauwerkstatt befindet sich in den ehemaligen Wirtschaftsräumen des Hofes. An Handwebstühlen, Webmaschinen und Spulmaschinen können Besucher die Greizer Geschichte erleben und fühlen, indem sie sich aktiv am Produktionsprozess beteiligen.
Przez wieki Dolny Zamek pełnił funkcję rezydencji panów z Untergreiz i hrabiów Rzeszy, a także książąt Reussów z linii starszej. W Dolnym Zamku znajduje się wystawa stała, warsztat tkacki oraz zmieniające się wystawy czasowe. Wystawa stała w Dolnym Zamku stanowi kontynuację ekspozycji „Od ziemi namiestników do księstwa Reuss starszej linii” w autentycznych pomieszczeniach z XIX wieku. Największą atrakcją jest sala balowa na beletage, dawne pomieszczenia reprezentacyjne i mieszkalne książąt. Na uwagę zasługuje również galeria z ogrodem zimowym oraz pomieszczenia władców regionalnych, ozdobione sztukaterią i fryzami. Warsztat pokazowy poświęcony jest historii rzemiosła tekstylnego w Greiz od jego początków w 1450 roku aż po przemysłową produkcję tkanin. Warsztat znajduje się w dawnych pomieszczeniach gospodarczych dworu. Dzięki ręcznym krosnom, maszynom tkackim i nawijarkom zwiedzający mogą poznać i poczuć historię Greiz, aktywnie uczestnicząc w procesie produkcji.
