Das Stadtschloss dient heute als Sitz des Landratsamts und ist dhe nur teilweise öffentlich zugänglich. Eine Besichtigung ist im Rahmen von Führungen möglich. Termine und Anmeldung erfolgen über die Tourist-Information Heilbad Heiligenstadt.. Besucherinnen und Besucher finden Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Schloss oder an der Kirche St. Martin (insgesamt 24 Stellplätze). Die Zufahrt zum Friedensplatz erfolgt über den Knickhagen. 7 weitere Kurzzeitparkplätze - max 30 Minuten Parkzeit - stehen hinter der Kirche St. Martin zur Verfügung. Le château municipal sert aujourd'hui de siège à l'administration du district et n'est donc que partiellement accessible au public. Il est possible de le visiter dans le cadre de visites guidées. Les dates et les inscriptions se font auprès de l'office du tourisme de Heilbad Heiligenstadt. Les visiteurs peuvent se garer directement devant le château ou près de l'église Saint-Martin (24 places au total). L'accès à la Friedensplatz se fait par la rue Knickhagen. 7 places de stationnement supplémentaires pour une durée maximale de 30 minutes sont disponibles derrière l'église St. Martin. L'accès se fait par le Stiftsweg.
Today, the city palace serves as the seat of the district administration and is only partially open to the public. It can be visited as part of a guided tour. Dates and registration are available through the Heilbad Heiligenstadt Tourist Information Office. Visitors can park directly in front of the palace or at St. Martin's Church (a total of 24 parking spaces). Access to Friedensplatz is via Knickhagen. Seven additional short-term parking spaces (max. 30 minutes) are available behind St. Martin's Church. Access is via Stiftsweg.
