Serba mit seinen Ortsteilen Trotz und Klengel ist eine Gemeinde im Saale-Holzland-Kreis. Etwa 8 km nördlich von Bad Klosterlausnitz gelegen, ist Serba sowohl über die B7 als auch über die A9 und das Hermsdorfer Kreuz gut erreichbar. Erstmals im 12. Jahrhundert urkundlich erwähnt, ist das Dorf Serba eine rein sorbische Gründung. Zahlreiche Drei- und Vierseithöfe zeugen von seiner 800-jährigen Geschichte. Zu den traditionellen Handwerksberufen gehören auch heute noch das Bau- und Zimmererhandwerk, der Ofen- und Kaminbau, das Fleischerhandwerk und die Bäckerei. In Serba befindet sich ein privates Eisenbahnmuseum. Das jahrhundertealte Waldgasthaus "Zu den grauen Ziegenböcken" liegt südlich des Ortes und lädt inmitten des idyllischen Mühltals zum Genuss von Thüringer Kost ein. Das ausgedehnte Waldgebiet bietet Naturfreunden ein gut ausgebautes Netz an Wander- und Radwegen, aber auch allerlei Möglichkeiten zur Aktivität: ein Besuch des Mühlen-Miniaturparks an der Robertsmühle, Kremserfahrten oder das Ausleihen eines Ponys für einen Ausritt. Die Töpferstadt Bürgel und das Kloster Thalbürgel sind fast ebenso nah wie die ehemalige Residenzstadt Eisenberg und die Kurstadt Bad Klosterlausnitz.

Serba with its districts Trotz and Klengel is a municipality in the Saale-Holzland district. Located about 8 km north of Bad Klosterlausnitz, Serba is easily accessible via the B7 as well as the A9 and the Hermsdorfer Kreuz. First mentioned in documents in the 12th century, the village of Serba is a purely Sorbian foundation. Numerous three- and four-sided farms bear witness to its 800-year history. The traditional crafts still include building and carpentry, stove and fireplace construction, butchery and bakery. There is a private railway museum in Serba. The centuries-old forest inn "Zu den grauen Ziegenböcken" is located south of the village and invites you to enjoy Thuringian food in the middle of the idyllic Mühltal. The extensive forest area offers nature lovers a well-developed network of hiking and biking trails, but also all kinds of opportunities for activity: a visit to the mill miniature park at the Robertsmühle, horse-drawn carriage rides or renting a pony for a ride. The pottery town of Bürgel and the Thalbürgel monastery are almost as close as the former residential town of Eisenberg and the spa town of Bad Klosterlausnitz.

La vaste zone forestière offre aux amoureux de la nature un réseau bien développé de sentiers de randonnée et de pistes cyclables, mais aussi toutes sortes de possibilités d'activités : une visite au parc miniature du moulin de Robertsmühle, des promenades en calèche ou la location d'un poney pour une promenade. La ville de poterie de Bürgel et le monastère de Thalbürgel sont presque aussi proches que l'ancienne ville résidentielle d' Eisenberg et la ville thermale de Bad Klosterlausnitz.
