Ausgangspunkt des künstlerischen Schaffens von Handmacher Roland Lindner ist der beschauliche Ort Hollsteitz in der Nähe von Zeitz. Zusammen mit seiner Frau Kerstin haben sie sich hier mit Kunsthaus- und garten, Werkstatt und Atelier einen kleinen besinnlichen Ort geschaffen, an dem Entwürfe für neue Arbeiten entstehen, Ideen ausgebrütet und künstlerisch umgesetzt werden. Schwerpunkte der künstlerischen Arbeit sind die Bildhauerei - Skulpturen und Plastiken aus unterschiedlichsten Materialien - sowie Kalligraphien. Besucher (auch Gruppen) sind nach Voranmeldung herzlich eingeladen, in einer besonderen Atmosphäre handgemachte Kunst zu entdecken, diese auf sich wirken zu lassen und darüber mit dem Künstlerpaar ins Gespräch zu kommen. Oft, wenn er in seinem Kunsthäuschen seinen Gedanken nachhängt, kann er es selbst kaum glauben, dass ihn Mut und Ausdauer in keiner Lebenslage verließen, die ihn seinen gesteckten Zielen Schritt für Schritt entgegen führten. Das bestärkte ihn in der Überzeugung, dass ein willensstarker Mensch mit etwas handwerklichem Geschick, Fantasie und Mut, aber vor allem mit der notwendigen Liebe zu dem, was er tut, beinahe unmöglich Erscheinendes erreichen kann. |

Le point de départ de la création artistique de l'artisan Roland Lindner est le village paisible de Hollsteitz, près de Zeitz. Avec son épouse Kerstin, ils se sont aménagé ici un petit havre de paix comprenant une maison d'art et un jardin, un atelier et un studio, où naissent les ébauches de nouvelles œuvres, où les idées mûrissent et se concrétisent artistiquement. Son travail artistique se concentre principalement sur la sculpture – des œuvres réalisées à partir de matériaux très variés – ainsi que sur la calligraphie. Les visiteurs (y compris les groupes) sont cordialement invités, sur réservation, à découvrir dans une atmosphère particulière des œuvres d’art faites à la main, à s’imprégner de leur charme et à échanger à ce sujet avec le couple d’artistes. Souvent, lorsqu’il se laisse aller à ses pensées dans sa petite maison d’art, il a lui-même du mal à croire que le courage et la persévérance ne l’aient jamais abandonné, quelle que soit la situation, et l’aient conduit pas à pas vers les objectifs qu’il s’était fixés. Cela l’a conforté dans sa conviction qu’une personne dotée d’une forte volonté, d’un peu d’habileté manuelle, d’imagination et de courage, mais surtout de l’amour nécessaire pour ce qu’elle fait, peut réaliser ce qui semble presque impossible. |

Punktem wyjścia dla twórczości artystycznej rzemieślnika Rolanda Lindnera jest spokojna miejscowość Hollsteitz w pobliżu Zeitz. Wraz z żoną Kerstin stworzyli tu niewielką, sprzyjającą refleksji przestrzeń, obejmującą dom sztuki i ogród, warsztat oraz pracownię, gdzie powstają projekty nowych dzieł, gdzie dojrzewają pomysły i gdzie są one realizowane artystycznie. Głównymi obszarami twórczości artystycznej są rzeźba – rzeźby i plastyki wykonane z najróżniejszych materiałów – oraz kaligrafia. Goście (w tym grupy) są serdecznie zapraszani po wcześniejszym umówieniu się, aby w wyjątkowej atmosferze odkrywać ręcznie wykonane dzieła sztuki, poddać się ich działaniu i porozmawiać o nich z parą artystów. Często, gdy pogrąża się w myślach w swojej artystycznej chatce, sam ledwo może uwierzyć, że odwaga i wytrwałość nie opuściły go w żadnej sytuacji życiowej, prowadząc go krok po kroku ku wyznaczonym celom. To utwierdziło go w przekonaniu, że człowiek o silnej woli, posiadający odrobinę umiejętności rzemieślniczych, wyobraźnię i odwagę, ale przede wszystkim niezbędną miłość do tego, co robi, może osiągnąć to, co wydaje się niemal niemożliwe. |

The starting point for the artistic work of craftsman Roland Lindner is the tranquil village of Hollsteitz near Zeitz. Together with his wife Kerstin, they have created a small, contemplative space here—complete with an art house, garden, workshop, and studio—where they develop designs for new works, hatch ideas, and bring them to life artistically. His artistic practice focuses on sculpture—works created from a wide variety of materials—as well as calligraphy. Visitors (including groups) are warmly invited, by appointment, to discover handmade art in a special atmosphere, to let it sink in, and to engage in conversation with the artist couple. Often, when he is lost in thought in his little art studio, he can hardly believe that courage and perseverance never abandoned him in any situation, guiding him step by step toward the goals he had set for himself. This reinforced his conviction that a strong-willed person with some craftsmanship, imagination, and courage—but above all, with the necessary love for what they do—can achieve what seems almost impossible. |
