About: Pfingstwanderung in die Hohe Schrecke, Pentecost hike in the Hohe Schrecke, Randonnée de Pentecôte dans la Hohe Schrecke

Am Pfingstmontag wandern wir auf dem Familien Wanderweg durch den Rabenswald. Der Rundweg ist als Erlebnispfad gestaltet und bietet einige Stationen. Start und Zielpunkt ist der Wanderparkplatz Garnbach. Nach der Durchquerung des Dorfes Garnbach machen wir einen Abstecher in das Freiluftatelier von Michael Krüger, einem lokalen Holzschnitzkünstler. Unterwegs gibt es dann einiges an Wissenswertem zur Entstehung, Struktur und Nutzung der Hohen Schrecke. Auf dem Plateau machen wir einen Abstecher zur Ruine der Burg Rabenswald inklusive der geschichtlichen Einordnung und einer Sage. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad ist leicht bis mittel. Empfohlen sind stabiles Schuhwerk, witterungsangepasste Kleidung sowie bei Bedarf Wanderstöcke. Die Route ist nicht durchgängig barrierefrei. Le lundi de Pentecôte, nous randonnons sur le sentier familial à travers la forêt de Rabenswald. Ce circuit est conçu comme un sentier découverte et comporte plusieurs étapes. Le point de départ et d'arrivée est le parking de randonnée de Garnbach. Après avoir traversé le village de Garnbach, nous faisons un détour par l'atelier en plein air de Michael Krüger, un sculpteur sur bois local. En chemin, nous apprendrons beaucoup de choses intéressantes sur la formation, la structure et l'utilisation de la Hohe Schrecke. Sur le plateau, nous faisons un détour par les ruines du château de Rabenswald, avec un aperçu historique et une légende. Le niveau de difficulté est facile à moyen. Il est recommandé de porter des chaussures robustes, des vêtements adaptés aux conditions météorologiques et, si nécessaire, des bâtons de randonnée. On Whit Monday, we hike along the family hiking trail through the Rabenswald forest. The circular trail is designed as an adventure trail and offers several stations. The starting and finishing point is the Garnbach hiking car park. After crossing the village of Garnbach, we will make a detour to the open-air studio of Michael Krüger, a local woodcarver. Along the way, we will learn some interesting facts about the origins, structure, and use of the Hohe Schrecke. On the plateau, we make a detour to the ruins of Rabenswald Castle, including historical context and a legend. The difficulty level is easy to moderate. Sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and hiking poles if needed are recommended. The route is not barrier-free throughout.
