Idéalement situé, avec environ 200 places de parking, Schmalkalden possède l'une des piscines extérieures les plus belles et les plus modernes de Thuringe. Il dispose d'une piscine sportive avec 3 couloirs de 50 m et 3 couloirs de 25 m et d'une tour de plongée avec une plate-forme de 3 m et un plongeoir d'un mètre. La piscine d'aventure est une véritable attraction avec sa surface d'eau de 310 m², ses 6 sièges de massage, ses 3 bulles au sol, ses 5 jets de massage, son large bec, son champignon d'eau et son large toboggan de 8 m de long. Pour nos petits baigneurs, nous disposons d'une pataugeoire séparée avec deux petits toboggans pour enfants, d'une aire de jeux pour enfants, d'un grand terrain d'échecs, de deux tables de ping-pong, de trois terrains de volley-ball de plage et d'une installation de football de plage récemment construite qui vous invitent à faire du sport et à jouer. La piscine en plein air est accessible aux personnes handicapées et a reçu en 2004 la médaille d'or "Human Friendly" pour son accessibilité aux personnes handicapées.

In a convenient location with about 200 parking spaces, Schmalkalden has one of the most beautiful and modern outdoor pool facilities in Thuringia. It has a sports pool with 3 x 50m and 3 x 25m lanes and a diving tower with a 3m platform and a 1m diving board. The adventure pool is a real attraction with its 310 m² water surface, 6 massage seats, 3 floor bubblers, 5 massage jets, 1 broad spout, 1 water mushroom and an 8m long wide water slide. For our little bathing guests we have a separate paddling pool with 2 small children's slides, a children's playground, a large chess field, two table tennis tables, 3 beach volleyball courts and a newly built beach soccer facility invite you to sport and play. The open-air swimming pool is handicapped accessible and was awarded the medal "Human Friendly" in gold for handicapped friendliness in 2004.

In verkehrsgünstiger Lage mit etwa 200 Pkw-Stellplätzen besitzt Schmalkalden eine der schönsten und modernsten Freibadanlagen Thüringens. Es verfügt über ein Sportbecken mit 3 x 50-m- und 3 x 25-m-Bahnen und einen Sprungturm mit 3-m-Plattform und einem 1-m-Sprungbrett. Das Erlebnisbecken ist mit der 310 m² großen Wasserfläche, den 6 Massagesitzen, 3 Bodensprudlern, 5 Massagedüsen, 1 Breitspeier, 1 Wasserpilz und einer 8 m lange Breitwasserrutsche eine echte Attraktion. Für unsere kleinen Badegäste haben wir ein separates Planschbecken mit 2 kleinen Kinderrutschen, einen Kinderspielplatz, ein Großschachfeld, zwei Tischtennisplatten und 3 Beachvolleyballfelder. Eine neu entstandene Beachsoccer-Anlage laden zu Sport und Spiel ein. Das Freibad ist behindertengerecht ausgebaut und wurde 2004 für Behindertenfreundlichkeit mit der Medaille "Menschenfreundlich" in Gold ausgezeichnet.
