About: Reichenbach bei Hermsdorf

Im Jahre 1262 wurde Reichenbach erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Um 1800 entwickelten sich die Erwerbszweige der Landfuhrleute und der Obst- und Viehhändler. 1873 wurde die erste Porzellanmanufaktur gegründet. Über 100 Jahre waren Porzellanmalerei und Porzellanhandel das dominierende Handwerk der Reichenbacher und heute wird weltweit Reichenbacher Qualitätsporzellan vertrieben. Dieses kleine, beschauliche und ruhige Dorf, direkt am Hermsdorfer Kreuz gelegen, ist jederzeit einen Ausflug wert. Sehenswert in Reichenbach ist auch die Kirche, die auf einem Hügel weit sichtbar steht und aus dem Jahre 1726 stammt. In satten Farben gemalt sind Blumen und Ornamente, die Orgel im Spätbarock, erbaut 1881.

Les fleurs et les ornements sont peints dans des couleurs riches, l'orgue en baroque tardif, construit en 1881.

Reichenbach was first mentioned in a document in 1262. Around 1800, the trades of the country carters and the fruit and cattle traders developed. In 1873 the first porcelain manufactory was founded. For more than 100 years porcelain painting and porcelain trade were the dominant crafts of the people of Reichenbach and today Reichenbach quality porcelain is sold worldwide. This small, contemplative and quiet village, situated directly at the Hermsdorfer Kreuz, is worth a trip at any time. Also worth seeing in Reichenbach is the church, which stands on a hill visible from afar and dates back to 1726. Flowers and ornaments are painted in rich colours, the organ in late baroque, built in 1881.
