A SEGWAY tour in the footsteps of outstanding writers & the natural beauties. Guided SEGWAY tour After a detailed briefing on the SEGWAY and a test drive we start from the hotel at the Vitalpark. Past the fairy tale park of the Brothers Grimm we drive in the direction of Heinrich Heine Kurpark. Our journey continues to the Herrnmühle, the Mainz Castle and to Theodor Storm. The famous writer and lyricist worked as a district judge in Heiligenstadt from 1856-1864 and wrote some of his novellas here, such as Veronica and On the State Farm. On the Wilhelm (the town's promenade) we learn why two children hid a hot pan with fried eggs in the barn on March 01, 1739, which caused 2/3 of the town to burn down. We glide on to the baroque garden and Jesuit College, which was the most modern grammar school in Germany from 1575-1773. At this gymnasium the Jesuits taught that the earth is a sphere and not a disc. When this thesis was brought to the attention of the then Pope Clement the XIV, the Jesuits had to evacuate and close the school within 24h in 1773. After visiting the baroque garden and the waterfall, we drive to the "Dün", a wooded ridge on the outskirts of the city and follow for 3 km a beautiful panoramic path to the recreation park "Neun Brunnen". Here surrounded by the nine springs, in the middle of the "Pferdebachtal" we enjoy a delicious coffee on the outdoor terrace, before we leave this natural idyll again and glide back to the city on the panoramic path. As the last highlight of this tour we visit the "Regentrude" at the romantic waterfall" before we arrive back at the starting point of our tour. Eine SEGWAY-Tour auf den Spuren herausragender Schriftsteller & den Naturschönheiten Geführte SEGWAY-Tour Nach einer ausführlichen Einweisung am SEGWAY und einer Probefahrt starten wir vom Hotel am Vitalpark. Vorbei am Märchenpark der Gebrüder Grimm fahren wir in Richtung Heinrich Heine Kurpark. Weiter geht unsere Fahrt zur Herrnmühle, dem Mainzer Schloss und zu Theodor Storm. Der bekannte Schriftsteller und Lyriker hat von 1856-1864 in Heiligenstadt als Kreisrichter gearbeitet und hier auch einige seiner Novellen wie Veronica und auf dem Staatshof geschrieben. Auf dem Wilhelm (der Flaniermeile der Stadt) erfahren wir warum zwei Kinder am 01. März 1739 eine heiße Pfanne mit Spiegeleiern in der Scheune versteckten und dadurch 2/3 der Stadt abbrannte. Wir gleiten weiter zum Barockgarten und Jesuitenkolleg, welches von 1575-1773 als modernste Gymnasiums Deutschlands galt. Auf diesem Gymnasium lehrten die Jesuiten, dass die Erde eine Kugel und keine Scheibe ist. Als dem damaligen Papst Clemens dem XIV diese These zugetragen wurde, mussten die Jesuiten 1773 innerhalb von 24h die Schule räumen und schließen.  Nachdem wir uns den Barockgarten und den Wasserfall angesehen haben, fahren wir zum „Dün“, einem bewaldeten Höhenzug am Stadtrand und folgen für 3 km einem wunderschönen Panoramaweg bis zum Erholungspark „Neun Brunnen“. Hier umgeben von den neun Quellen, inmitten des „Pferdebachtals“ genießen wir auf der Freiterrasse einen leckeren Kaffee, bevor wir dieses Naturidyll wieder verlassen und auf dem Panoramaweg zurück zur Stadt gleiten. Als letzten Höhepunkt dieser Tour besuchen wir die „Regentrude“ am romantischen Wasserfall", bevor wir wieder am Ausgangspunkt unserer Tour ankommen. Un tour en SEGWAY sur les traces d'écrivains exceptionnels et de beautés naturelles. Tour guidé en SEGWAY Après une instruction détaillée sur le SEGWAY et un tour d'essai, nous partons de l'hôtel au Vitalpark. Nous passerons devant le parc des contes des frères Grimm et prendrons la direction du parc thermal Heinrich Heine. Notre voyage se poursuit vers le Herrnmühle, le château de Mayence et Theodor Storm. Le célèbre écrivain et poète a travaillé de 1856 à 1864 à Heiligenstadt en tant que juge de district et y a également écrit quelques-unes de ses nouvelles, comme Veronica et auf dem Staatshof. Sur la Wilhelm (la rue piétonne de la ville), nous apprenons pourquoi, le 1er mars 1739, deux enfants ont caché une poêle chaude avec des œufs au plat dans la grange, ce qui a entraîné l'incendie des deux tiers de la ville. Nous glissons ensuite vers le jardin baroque et le collège des jésuites qui, de 1575 à 1773, était considéré comme le lycée le plus moderne d'Allemagne. Dans ce collège, les jésuites enseignaient que la terre est une sphère et non un disque. Lorsque le pape de l'époque, Clément XIV, a été informé de cette thèse, les jésuites ont dû évacuer et fermer l'école dans les 24 heures en 1773. Après avoir admiré le jardin baroque et la cascade, nous nous rendons au "Dün", une colline boisée à la périphérie de la ville, et suivons pendant 3 km un magnifique chemin panoramique jusqu'au parc de loisirs "Neun Brunnen". Ici, entourés des neuf sources, au milieu de la "vallée du Pferdebach", nous dégustons un délicieux café sur la terrasse en plein air, avant de quitter à nouveau cette idylle naturelle et de glisser sur le chemin panoramique pour revenir en ville. Le dernier point fort de cette excursion est la visite de la "Regentrude" près de la romantique "Wasserfall", avant de revenir au point de départ de notre excursion.
