Der Festumzug des Eisenacher Sommergewinns am 14. März 2026 bildet ab 14:00 Uhr den farbenprächtigen Höhepunkt des Frühlingsfestes. Dieses beeindruckende Schauspiel, das den Sieg des Sommers über den Winter zelebriert, setzt sich aus einer gewaltigen Logistik und viel ehrenamtlicher Arbeit zusammen. Mehr als 1.200 Mitwirkende ziehen in einem fröhlichen Reigen durch die Straßen der Wartburgstadt. Der Zug besteht aus über 40 Laufgruppen sowie mehr als 40 Festwagen und Kutschen, die festlich mit Hunderttausenden von handgefertigten Krepppapierblüten geschmückt sind. Für die musikalische Untermalung und Stimmung sorgen zehn Kapellen und Spielmannszüge, während über 100 Pferde die prächtigen Gespanne bewegen. Der Umzug beginnt traditionell in der Weststadt, der Keimzelle des Sommergewinns, und bewegt sich unter dem Beifall Zehntausender Zuschauer in Richtung Innenstadt. Sein Ziel ist der historische Marktplatz, wo gegen 16:00 Uhr der zentrale und symbolische Akt stattfindet: das Streitgespräch zwischen Frau Sunna und Herrn Winter. Nach dem unvermeidlichen Sieg des Sommers wird der Winter in Form einer Strohpuppe symbolisch verbrannt. Den Abschluss des Festwochenendes bildet am Abend des 15. März das germanische Feuerrad-Rollen am Wolfgang, das die archaische Tradition des "Sommereinholens" abrundet.

Après la victoire inévitable de l'été, l'hiver est symboliquement brûlé sous la forme d'un pantin de paille. Le week-end festif se termine le soir du 15 mars par le roulement germanique de la roue de feu à Wolfgang, qui vient compléter la tradition archaïque de « l'arrivée de l'été ».
The Eisenach Summer Festival parade on March 14, 2026, starting at 2:00 p.m., is the colorful highlight of the spring festival. This impressive spectacle, which celebrates summer's victory over winter, is the result of enormous logistical efforts and a great deal of volunteer work. More than 1,200 participants parade through the streets of Wartburgstadt in a joyful procession. The parade consists of over 40 walking groups and more than 40 floats and carriages, festively decorated with hundreds of thousands of handmade crepe paper flowers. Ten bands and marching bands provide the musical accompaniment and atmosphere, while over 100 horses pull the magnificent carriages. The parade traditionally begins in the western part of the city, the birthplace of the Sommergewinn, and moves toward the city center to the applause of tens of thousands of spectators. Its destination is the historic market square, where the central and symbolic act takes place at around 4:00 p.m.: the debate between Frau Sunna and Herr Winter. After the inevitable victory of summer, winter is symbolically burned in the form of a straw doll. The festival weekend concludes on the evening of March 15 with the Germanic fire wheel rolling at Wolfgang, which rounds off the archaic tradition of "welcoming summer."
