When SAG was transformed into VEB Carl-Zeiss-Jena after the war, the design for the ZKP 1 projector was taken out of the drawer and the first three projectors of this model series were produced in 1952. The projector in the Bad Salzungen Planetarium is exactly THE one that was exhibited at the first Leipzig Autumn Fair after the Second World War. We are happy and proud to own this very ZKP 1, which marked the beginning of a fascinating history of planetarium production in Thuringia, and to preserve it for the public.<br>The Bad Salzungen planetarium was opened in October 1984. At that time as part of the "Station of Young Technicians and Naturalists". In the first seven years, over 50,000 visitors were counted. In 1991, the district took over the planetarium, which has been part of the Wartburg District Adult Education Center since 1996. In 1998/99, the building was extensively renovated and refurbished.</p><p>In 2022, a new full-dome digital projector was installed, making sensational programs possible. However, the old ZKP 1 is still in full use alongside the state-of-the-art LASER projection. <h2>Le planétarium fait tomber les étoiles du ciel !</h2><p></p><p>Le planétarium se trouve dans l'un des plus beaux endroits du chef-lieu d'arrondissement Bad Salzungen, dans un cadre très idyllique au bord du lac Burgsee, juste à la jonction avec le parc Rathenau.</p><p>Sous la coupole de 8 mètres, jusqu'à 50 invités peuvent s'asseoir confortablement pour assister au programme varié et intéressant.</p><p>L'histoire du planétarium commence dans les années 1930. Après l'ouverture du premier planétarium du monde à Iéna, il y a près de 100 ans, l'armée a également commencé à utiliser les planétariums pour la formation. Les usines Zeiss d'Iéna ont été chargées de construire un nouveau planétarium qui devait remplir trois conditions importantes :<br>La taille de la salle devait correspondre à la capacité d'un groupe de 30 à 40 personnes, le service devait être centralisé et entièrement mécanique (donc un conférencier pouvant montrer individuellement et rapidement le ciel à différents endroits et moments) et le point le plus important : la brillance des étoiles et leurs "lieux" devaient être absolument identiques à la réalité. La Seconde Guerre mondiale a toutefois empêché la réalisation de ce projet. Après la guerre, lorsque la SAG fut transformée en VEB Carl-Zeiss-Jena, la conception du projecteur ZKP 1 fut sortie des tiroirs et les trois premiers projecteurs de cette série furent fabriqués en 1952. Le projecteur du planétarium de Bad Salzung est précisément celui qui a été exposé à la première foire d'automne de Leipzig après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Nous sommes heureux et fiers de posséder précisément ce ZKP 1, qui a marqué le début d'une histoire fascinante de la production de planétariums en Thuringe, et de le conserver pour la population.<br>Le planétarium de Bad Salzung a été inauguré en octobre 1984. En 1991, le district a repris le planétarium, qui appartient depuis 1996 à l'université populaire du district de Wartburg. En 1998/99, le bâtiment a été entièrement rénové.</p><p>En 2022, un nouveau projecteur numérique à dôme complet a pu être installé, permettant des programmes sensationnels. L'ancien ZKP 1 continue cependant d'être utilisé à plein régime, sans aucune restriction, à côté de la projection LASER la plus moderne.
