A beautiful, park-like setting by the lake with 8 bungalows for a close-to-nature stay: The Kretzschau Youth Hostel is perfect for nature lovers and active travelers! In addition to our bungalows, which feature two- to six-bed rooms with showers and toilets, we offer numerous recreational and sports facilities, including soccer, volleyball, and basketball courts, billiards, barbecue areas, and a campfire site. In our main building, you’ll find a game room complete with a dartboard and foosball table. The facilities are complemented by various seminar and conference rooms, making the youth hostel ideal for workshops, music groups, and conferences. Our youth hostel is located right on the lake, with swimming access and a dock practically right outside the front door. Here you can swim, rent pedal boats and rowboats, or simply relax and unwind. An Eventful Family Vacation Families stay with us in beautiful family rooms with private bathrooms. Our spacious, green grounds offer plenty of room to play and run around. From the swimming lake to a children’s playground and equipment for all kinds of ball sports, we have everything to keep both young and old entertained. We’re also happy to provide tips for activities in the surrounding area. Adventurous school trips A visit to the horse farm, exploring the underground Zeitz, or a trip to the Moritzburg Castle Museum: a school trip to the Kretzschau Youth Hostel is always exciting! Here in the Burgenlandkreis, at the tri-state border of Saxony, Thuringia, and Saxony-Anhalt, there’s plenty to discover. And in the evening around the campfire, everyone will have plenty to talk about! For conferences and music groups Conferences and rehearsals are particularly relaxing on our large, green grounds by the lake. Five seminar rooms for up to 100 people are available for conference and music groups. And after work, the recreational opportunities are endless!
Ein herrliches, parkähnliches Gelände am See mit 8 Bungalows für naturnahes Wohnen: Die Jugendherberge Kretzschau ist perfekt für NaturliebhaberInnen und Aktive! Neben unseren Bungalows mit ihren Zwei- bis Sechsbettzimmern mit Dusche/WC findet ihr bei uns zahlreiche Spiel- und Sportmöglichkeiten, darunter einen Fußball-, Volleyball- und Basketballplatz, Billard und Grillmöglichkeiten sowie einen Lagerfeuerplatz. In unserem Haupthaus erwarten euch eine Spielecke, samt Dartscheibe und Tischkicker. Ergänzt wird das Angebot durch verschiedene Seminar- und Tagungsräume, wodurch sich die Jugendherberge auch für Workshops, Musikgruppen und Tagungen eignet. Unsere Jugendherberge liegt direkt am See, mit Badezugang und Steg fast vor der Haustür. Hier könnt ihr baden, euch Tret- und Ruderboote ausleihen oder einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Erlebnisreicher Familienurlaub Familien wohnen bei uns in schönen Familienzimmern mit eigenem Bad. Auf unserem weitläufigen, grünen Gelände gibt es jede Menge Platz zum Spielen und Toben. Vom Badesee über einen Kinderspielplatz bis hin zu Equipment für Ballsport aller Art ist alles da, was Groß und Klein gleichermaßen Spaß macht. Gerne geben wir auch Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Abenteuerliche Klassenfahrten Reiterhof-Besuch, Erkundung des unterirdischen Zeitz‘ oder ein Besuch des Museums Schloss Moritzburg: Eine Klassenfahrt in die Jugendherberge Kretzschau ist immer spannend! Hier im Burgenlandkreis, im Dreiländereck von Sachsen, Thüringen und Sachsen-Anhalt, gibt es viel zu entdecken. Und abends am Lagerfeuer haben sich alle dann viel zu erzählen! Für Tagungen und Musikgruppen Tagen und Proben ist auf unserem großen, grünen Areal am See besonders entspannt. Tagungs- und Musikgruppen stehen fünf Seminarräume für bis zu hundert Personen zur Verfügung. Und nach der Arbeit sind die Freizeitmöglichkeiten endlos!
