Der runde Brunnen steht in der Mitte des Marktplatzes von Oberthulba. In der Mitte des Brunnens ragt eine Säule empor, auf der die Inschrift In Oberthulba >Der Plue< Brauchtum steht. Darüber sind die Plantänzer in die Säule eingearbeitet. Der Brunnen soll an den alten Brauch des Plantanzes erinnern, welcher nur alle 25 Jahre aufgelebt wird.

La fontaine ronde se trouve au milieu de la place du marché d'Oberthulba. Au centre de la fontaine s'élève une colonne sur laquelle est gravée l'inscription « In Oberthulba &gt;Der Plue&lt; Brauchtum » (À Oberthulba, la coutume du Plue). Au-dessus, les danseurs du Plue sont sculptés dans la colonne. La fontaine est destinée à rappeler l'ancienne coutume du Plue, qui n'est ravivée que tous les 25 ans.

The round fountain stands in the middle of Oberthulba's market square. In the center of the fountain stands a column bearing the inscription "In Oberthulba &gt;Der Plue&lt; Brauchtum" (In Oberthulba &gt;The Plue&lt; Custom). Above it, the Plantänzer dancers are carved into the column. The fountain is intended to commemorate the old custom of Plantanz, which is only revived every 25 years.
