Das ehemalige Wohn- und Handwerkerhaus der Tuchmacherfamilie Horn verfügt über einen seltenen, umfangreich erhaltenen bauzeitlichen Bestand. Hier finden sich unter anderem eine Stab- und eine Blockbohlenstube sowie eine schwarze Küche, an deren Wänden sich der Ruß von Jahrhunderten zeigt. Der Rundgang durch das Haus Horn vermittelt Interessantes aus fast 500 Jahren Wohnkultur und Lebensweise ebenso wie Wissenswertes über die Tuchmacher, deren Innung und ihre einstige Bedeutung für Pößneck.

The lavishly renovated and fully accessible architectural monument Haus Horn in Johannisgasse 1 dates back to around 1555. The former residential and craftsman's house of the Horn family of clothiers has a rare, extensively preserved building period inventory.
