Am Freitag, den 25. Juli um 20.00 Uhr, lädt die Klosterkirche Sankt Antonius in Worbis zu einem ganz besonderen musikalischen Erlebnis ein: Der international bekannte niederländische Organist Arjan Breukhoven präsentiert unter dem Titel „Orgel ohne Grenzen“ ein abwechslungsreiches und mitreißendes Konzertprogramm, das die Vielseitigkeit der Orgel eindrucksvoll unter Beweis stellt. Auf dem prachtvollen Orgelinstrument der Klosterkirche erklingen Werke, die stilistisch kaum unterschiedlicher sein könnten – und genau das ist das Konzept: Musik kennt keine Grenzen. Breukhoven eröffnet das Programm mit einem tänzerischen Orgelwerk von Johann Sebastian Bach, gefolgt von der leidenschaftlichen Libertango des argentinischen Komponisten Astor Piazzolla. Eine besondere Hommage an seine Heimat bringt er mit der Fantasie über „Ein feste Burg“ von Jan Zwart, einem bedeutenden niederländischen Komponisten und Organisten. Emotionaler Höhepunkt des Abends ist die ergreifende Filmmusik aus „Schindler’s List“, bevor Breukhoven mit der virtuosen Figaro-Arie aus Rossinis Oper Il barbiere di Siviglia brilliert. Den krönenden Abschluss bilden das berührende „Music was my first love“ sowie das energiegeladene Werk „Power of Life“ des norwegischen Komponisten Mons Leidvin Takle. Der Eintritt ist frei, im Anschluss an das Konzert wird jedoch um eine freiwillige Kollekte zur Deckung der Unkosten gebeten. Ein Abend voller Klangfarben, Emotionen und musikalischer Überraschungen – für Orgelliebhaber und neugierige Zuhörer gleichermaßen ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!

Le vendredi 25 juillet à 20 heures, l'église du couvent Saint-Antoine de Worbis vous invite à vivre une expérience musicale très particulière : L'organiste néerlandais de renommée internationale Arjan Breukhoven présente, sous le titre "Orgue sans frontières", un programme de concert varié et entraînant qui démontre de manière impressionnante la polyvalence de l'orgue. Sur le magnifique instrument qu'est l'orgue de l'abbatiale, on entendra des œuvres dont les styles ne pourraient guère être plus différents - et c'est précisément le concept : la musique ne connaît pas de frontières. Breukhoven ouvre le programme avec une œuvre pour orgue dansante de Jean-Sébastien Bach, suivie par le Libertango passionné du compositeur argentin Astor Piazzolla. Il rend ensuite un hommage particulier à son pays d'origine avec la fantaisie sur "Ein feste Burg" de Jan Zwart, un important compositeur et organiste néerlandais. Le point culminant émotionnel de la soirée est la poignante musique de film de "La liste de Schindler", avant que Breukhoven ne brille avec l'air virtuose de Figaro de l'opéra Il barbiere di Siviglia de Rossini. L'émouvant "Music was my first love" et l'œuvre pleine d'énergie "Power of Life" du compositeur norvégien Mons Leidvin Takle viendront couronner le tout. L'entrée est gratuite, mais une collecte volontaire est demandée à l'issue du concert pour couvrir les frais. Works that could hardly be more different in terms of style are played on the magnificent organ instrument in the monastery church - and that is precisely the concept: music knows no boundaries. Breukhoven opens the program with a dance-like organ work by Johann Sebastian Bach, followed by the passionate Libertango by Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla. He pays a special homage to his homeland with the Fantasia on "Ein feste Burg" by Jan Zwart, an important Dutch composer and organist. The emotional highlight of the evening is the poignant film music from "Schindler's List", before Breukhoven shines with the virtuoso Figaro aria from Rossini's opera Il barbiere di Siviglia. The crowning finale is the touching "Music was my first love" and the energetic work "Power of Life" by Norwegian composer Mons Leidvin Takle. Admission is free, but a voluntary collection is requested after the concert to cover expenses.
