Sous le nom « Resurrektion Aurora – Wiederbelebung eines Areals » ( Résurrection Aurora – Revitalisation d'un site), un projet parallèle au BUGA dans la région d'Altenburg associe le passé minier de la région à des éléments issus de l'art, de la littérature et de l'architecture paysagère contemporaine. Le projet invite à un voyage de découverte à travers des espaces naturels protégés et délibérément aménagés, ainsi qu'à travers des concepts artistiques. Le terril de Beerwalde et le chevalement de Löbichau deviennent ainsi des symboles marquants de l'histoire de Wismut. En tant qu'œuvre d'art totale, le projet se compose de plusieurs installations individuelles, chacune ayant son propre message créatif. Jeu de couleurs et accents sculpturaux Environ 8 800 arbustes et jeunes arbres ont été plantés sur le terril Wismut à Beerwalde. La diversité des couleurs de leurs feuilles et de leurs fleurs crée un effet arc-en-ciel vivant qui s'intègre harmonieusement dans le paysage. Un circuit guide les visiteurs le long des plantations et passe devant onze sculptures coniques en fonte, accompagnées de panneaux explicatifs. Celles-ci abordent d'un point de vue philosophique la relation entre l'homme et la nature. Le chemin débouche finalement sur la « zone respectée », située au point culminant du terril. La nature sans intervention : les « zones respectées » Tant sur le plateau du terril que sur un terrain adjacent d'environ 30 hectares appartenant autrefois à Wismut à Löbichau, on a délibérément renoncé à toute délimitation. Néanmoins, cet espace est respecté et n'est pas utilisé – la nature peut s'y développer librement et sans influence extérieure. Rendez-vous artistique sous les tilleuls Une allée de tilleuls et un rond-point composé de 200 tilleuls impériaux nouvellement plantés encadrent l'ancienne tour d'extraction à Löbichau. Depuis 2007, ce lieu sert d'espace de rencontre, de réflexion artistique et d'échange culturel. « Worüber das Gras wächst… » (Ce qui pousse dans l'herbe…) Tel est le titre du concept culturel qui accompagne le projet et qui traite de manière approfondie du passé de Wismut et de l'histoire régionale. Il comprend notamment un parcours thématique littéraire qui guide les visiteurs à travers le passé de la région d'une manière particulière.
Under the name "Resurrection Aurora – Revitalization of an Area," a BUGA accompanying project in the Altenburger Land region links the region's mining past with elements from art, literature, and contemporary landscape architecture. The project invites visitors on a journey of discovery through protected and deliberately designed natural spaces as well as artistic concepts. The Beerwalde slag heap and the winding tower in Löbichau are becoming striking symbols of Wismut's history. As a total work of art, the project consists of several individual installations, each with its own creative statement. Play of colors and sculptural accents Around 8,800 shrubs and young trees have been planted on the Wismut slag heap in Beerwalde. Their different leaf and flower colors create a lively rainbow effect that blends harmoniously into the landscape. A circular path leads visitors along the plantings and past eleven cast-iron cone sculptures, which are accompanied by inscribed plaques. These explore the relationship between humans and nature from a philosophical perspective. The path finally leads to the so-called "respected area" at the highest point of the slag heap. Nature without intervention: the "respected areas" Both on the plateau of the slag heap and on an adjacent 30-hectare site of former Wismut land in Löbichau, boundaries have been deliberately omitted. Nevertheless, this space is respected and not used—nature is allowed to develop freely and without influence here. Art meeting place under the lime trees An avenue of lime trees and a roundabout with a total of 200 newly planted imperial lime trees frame the former winding tower in Löbichau. Since 2007, this place has served as a space for encounters, artistic debate, and cultural exchange. "What the grass grows over..." This is the title of the accompanying cultural concept, which deals intensively with Wismut's past and regional history. Among other things, it includes a literary theme trail that guides visitors through the region's past in a special way.
Unter dem Namen „Resurrektion Aurora – Wiederbelebung eines Areals“ verknüpft ein BUGA-Begleitprojekt im Altenburger Land die bergbauliche Vergangenheit der Region mit Elementen aus Kunst, Literatur und zeitgemäßer Landschaftsarchitektur. Das Vorhaben lädt zu einer Entdeckungsreise durch geschützte und bewusst gestaltete Naturräume ebenso wie durch künstlerische Konzepte ein. Dabei entwickeln sich die Halde Beerwalde und der Förderturm in Löbichau zu markanten Symbolen der Wismut-Geschichte. Als Gesamtkunstwerk setzt sich das Projekt aus mehreren Einzelinstallationen zusammen, von denen jede eine eigene gestalterische Aussage besitzt. Farbenspiel und skulpturale Akzente Rund 8.800 Sträucher und junge Bäume wurden auf der Wismut-Halde in Beerwalde angepflanzt. Durch ihre unterschiedlichen Blatt- und Blütenfarben entsteht ein lebendiger Regenbogeneindruck, der sich harmonisch in die Landschaft einfügt. Ein Rundweg führt Besucher entlang der Pflanzungen und vorbei an elf gusseisernen Kegelskulpturen, die mit beschrifteten Tafeln versehen sind. Diese setzen sich aus philosophischer Perspektive mit dem Verhältnis des Menschen zur Natur auseinander. Der Weg mündet schließlich in das sogenannte „respektierte Areal“ auf dem höchsten Punkt der Halde. Natur ohne Eingriffe: die „Respektierten Areale“ Sowohl auf dem Plateau der Halde als auch auf einem angrenzenden, etwa 30 Hektar großen Gelände ehemaliger Wismut-Flächen in Löbichau wird bewusst auf Abgrenzungen verzichtet. Dennoch wird dieser Raum geachtet und nicht genutzt – die Natur darf sich hier frei und unbeeinflusst entfalten. Treffpunkt Kunst unter Linden Eine Lindenallee sowie ein Rondell aus insgesamt 200 neu gepflanzten Kaiserlinden umrahmen den früheren Förderturm in Löbichau. Seit dem Jahr 2007 dient dieser Ort als Raum für Begegnung, künstlerische Auseinandersetzung und kulturellen Austausch. „Worüber das Gras wächst …“ So lautet der Titel des begleitenden Kulturkonzepts, das sich intensiv mit der Wismut-Vergangenheit und der regionalen Geschichte auseinandersetzt. Bestandteil davon ist unter anderem ein literarischer Themenpfad, der Besucher auf besondere Weise durch die Vergangenheit der Region führt.
