Au milieu de la « Wilde Weide » se dresse une tour d'observation qui offre une vue panoramique sur les pâturages où paissent bovins, chevaux, moutons et chèvres. De là, le regard peut s'étendre jusqu'aux forêts de hêtres du nord du parc national, à la forêt de Thuringe et au château de Wartburg.
In the middle of the Wilden Weide stands an observation tower that offers a panoramic view of the pastures where cattle, horses, sheep, and goats graze. From here, you can let your gaze wander all the way to the beech forests in the northern part of the national park, the Thuringian Forest, and Wartburg Castle.
Mitten auf der Wilden Weide steht ein Beobachtungsturm, der einen Rundumblick auf die Weiden von Rindern und Pferden sowie Schafen und Ziegen ermöglicht. Hier kann man seinen Blick bis hin zu den Buchenwäldern im nördlichen Nationalpark, zum Thüringer Wald und der Wartburg schweifen lassen.
W samym środku pastwiska „Wilde Weide” stoi wieża widokowa, z której rozciąga się panoramiczny widok na pastwiska, na których pasą się krowy, konie, owce i kozy. Stąd wzrok można skierować aż po lasy bukowe w północnej części parku narodowego, Las Turyński i zamek Wartburg.
