To the right of the Werra, within sight of Pferdsdorf, lies Spichra. Both villages form one unit - Pferdsdorf-Spichra. Spichra, first mentioned in a document in 1393 as "Spicher", experienced historical ups and downs; frohn, burdens, wars and destructions - but also the romantic environment - the Werratal - the forests, the Natu, shaped the people. Today Spichra shows itself as the small, idyllic "Spicher" - which is home for young and old. Hiking trails around the village make nature here a pure experience. Whether as a hiker, water sportsman or cyclist - Spichra is hardly something not possible.

Rechts der Werra, in Sichweite von Pferdsdorf, liegt Spichra. Beide Dörfer bilden eine Einheit - Pferdsdorf-Spichra. Spichra, erstmals urkundlich im Jahre 1393 als "Spicher" erwähnt, durchlebte geschichtliche Höhen und Tiefen; Frohn, Belastungen, Kriege und Zerstörungen. Aber auch das romantische Umfeld - das Werratal -, die Wälder und die Natur prägten die Menschen. Heute zeigt sich Spichra als das kleine, idyllische "Spicher", welches Heimat für Jung und Alt ist. Wanderwege rund um den Ort machen hier die Natur zum puren Erlebnis. Ob als Wanderer, Wassersportler oder Radfahrer - in Spichra ist kaum etwas nicht möglich.
