The Warzä Stä is a legendary healing stone located on a property along the “am rassigen Weg,” an old path between Diebach and Untereschenbach. As late as 1970, it was still known for its ability to cure warts. In addition, the villagers believed it could work miracles for schoolchildren. If a child was having trouble in school, they were advised to look into the hole in the stone. This stems from a legend. A poor but righteous widow had a son who was very dull and simple-minded. With a heavy heart, the poor woman went out into the field, sat down by the side of the path with her arm resting on that stone, and prayed fervently for enlightenment for her son. The tears that dripped onto the stone hollowed it out and formed a pool in the hole. The next day, the son saw the stone, looked into the salty flood of tears, dipped his finger in, and wiped his forehead with it. Then the miracle happened! The boy began to help his mother, gave sensible answers, and also did well in school. His mother’s prayer had thus been answered, which is why the stone is said to possess miraculous powers to this day.

Jeśli dziecko miało problemy w szkole, zalecano mu, aby spojrzało do otworu w kamieniu. Wynika to z legendy.
