About: Aschara

Der Ortsteil Aschara ist 7,7 km von Bad Langensalza entfernt und zählt 441 Einwohner (Stand 31.12.2019). Am 01.01.1994 wurde Aschara eingemeindet. Im Jahre 786 wurde der Ort erstmals erwähnt. Unmittelbar an der Hauptstraße befindet sich die Kirche St. Petri – erbaut im Jahre 1749. Im Inneren der Kirche sieht man die vom Orgelschöpfer Heinrich Gottfried Trost geschaffene Orgel. Seit 200 Jahren steht ein schlichtes Brunnenbecken aus Sandstein, das von einer nie versiegenden Quelle gespeist wird, vor der Kirche.
