Hidden in the dense greenery of the Thuringian Forest, the rest area at the wishing well invites you to enjoy a very special moment of peace and quiet. Surrounded by rustling trees and the scent of damp earth, this place offers not only an opportunity to rest, but also to dream. A magical atmosphere! At the edge of a forest clearing stands a moss-covered fountain – the wishing well. A place where mysticism and nature meet: the dripping blessing of the spring and the silence of the forest create an atmosphere in which you instinctively pause, lean your head back and send your wishes silently into the depths of the forest. A place of encounter! A bench, partly made of unfinished wood, invites you to put down your backpack and listen to the splashing water. Some hikers throw a coin into the fountain, believing that their wish will come true if the sound echoes once in the fountain. The rest area offers a small refreshment stop for our animal companions.
Versteckt im dichten Grün des Thüringer Waldes lädt der Rastplatz am Wunschbrunnen zu einem ganz besonderen Moment der Ruhe ein. Umgeben von rauschenden Bäumen und dem Duft feuchter Erde bietet dieser Ort nicht nur eine Gelegenheit zum Ausruhen, sondern auch zum Träumen. Eine magische Atmosphäre! Am Beginn einer Waldlichtungsteht ein mit Moos bedeckter Brunnen – der Wunschbrunnen. Ein Ort, an dem Mystik und Natur aufeinander treffen: Ein tropfender Quellsegen und die Stille des Waldes schaffen eine Atmosphäre, in der man unwillkürlich innehält, den Kopf lehnt und Wünsche lautlos in die Tiefe des Waldes schickt. Ort der Begegnung! Eine Bank, teils aus unbearbeitetem Holz gefertigt, laden dazu ein, den Rucksack abzulegen und dem plätschernden Wasser zuzuhören. Manche Wandernde werfen eine Münze hinein – in dem Glauben, dass der Wunsch sich erfüllt, wenn der Klang einmalig im Brunnen widerhallt. Der Rastplatz bietet eine kleine Erfrischungsmöglichkeit für unsere tierischen Begleiter.
