Die ehemalige Walkmühle befand sich im heutigen Ortsteil von Mühlhausen, in Görmar. Görmar liegt ebenfalls an der Unstrut. An einem Seitenarm des Mühlgrabens vor dem Unstrutwehr in Görmar befand sich die Walkmühle. Die gefertigte Walkware gehörte zum Tuchmacherhandwerk. Sogar im 19. Jahrhundert wurde die Mühle noch als Walkmühle genutzt. Spätestens jedoch mit einem Verkauf im Jahr 1925 endete der Mühlenbetrieb. Das Gebäude wurde in den Jahren um 1990 aus- und umgebaut und beherbergt heute ein Wohnhaus.

Le bâtiment a été agrandi et transformé dans les années 1990 et abrite aujourd'hui une maison d'habitation.
