Unserer Wanderung vom Parkhaus bis rund um den Luisateich und zurück ist 3,2 km lang. Zehn Höhen- und Gefällemeter sind dabei zu überwinden. Der Untergrund der Wege ist asphaltiert oder feiner Kies. Letzteres erfordert öfters Schiebehilfe.

Notre randonnée du parking autour de l’étang Luisateich et retour fait 3,2 km. Il faut surmonter dix mètres de dénivelé. Le sol des chemins est asphalté ou en gravier fin. Ce dernier nécessite souvent une aide pour pousser.

After Bad Elster was first mentioned in documents in 1324, the first spring was scientifically examined here in 1669 and dedicated to the then territorial lord Duke Moritz of Saxony-Zeitz. As early as 1818, the first warm mineral water baths were offered in simple wooden sheds before Bad Elster was elevated to the status of "Royal Saxon State Spa" in 1848.
