Viel ist nicht mehr zu erkennen vom ehemals vorhandenen Bergbaurevier. Schaut man genauer hin, finden sich aber doch historische Hinweise auf diese Zeit. Mit der Bundesgartenschau im Jahr 2007 wurde die Landschaft rund um Ronneburg landschaftsarchitektonisch umgestaltet. Dass sich an Stelle der Neuen Landschaft® Ronneburg einst ein Tagebau befand, zeigen heute nur noch Vorher-Nachher-Bilder im Gelände. Die Fahrt führt Sie weiter über sehr schöne Dörfer durch das reizvolle Sprottetal bis nach Blankenhain und zurück nach Ronneburg. Dabei durchfahren Sie flaches Gelände mit geringfügigen Steigungen auf wenig befahrenen Straßen

Peu de choses témoignent encore de l'ancien bassin minier. En regardant de plus près, on trouve néanmoins des indices historiques de cette époque. Avec l'exposition horticole fédérale en 2007, le paysage autour de Ronneburg a été restructuré sur le plan paysager. Le fait qu'autrefois une mine à ciel ouvert se trouvait à la place de la Neue Landschaft® Ronneburg est aujourd'hui indiqué uniquement par des images avant-après sur le site. Le trajet vous conduit ensuite à travers de très jolis villages par la charmante vallée de la Sprotte jusqu'à Blankenhain et retour à Ronneburg. Vous traversez un terrain plat avec de légères montées sur des routes peu fréquentées.

There is not much left visible of the formerly existing mining area. However, if you look more closely, you will find historical indications of this time. With the Federal Garden Show in 2007, the landscape around Ronneburg was redesigned with landscape architecture. The fact that an open-pit mine used to be located where the Neue Landschaft® Ronneburg now stands is now shown only by before-and-after pictures in the terrain. The route leads you further through very beautiful villages through the charming Sprotte valley to Blankenhain and back to Ronneburg. You travel through flat terrain with slight inclines on lightly traveled roads.

Zahlreiche Informationstafeln und so genannte "Zeitfenster" mit Angaben zum ehemaligen Bergbau befinden sich entlang der gesamten Bergbauroute.
