Dieser zweistündige Rundweg von Stressenhausen nach Leimrieth (und zurück) führt an den Rodachquellen in Stressenhausen und Leimrieth vorbei. Die Rodach ist ein rund 42 km langer Fluss, der in seinem Verlauf immer wieder die Grenze zwischen Bayern und Thüringen überquert und schließlich westlich von Bodelstadt in die Itz mündet. Als weiterer Höhepunkt auf der rund 8 km langen Strecke kommt noch das Alte Forsthaus hinzu, das Gelegenheit für eine schöne Pause bietet. Die nahegelegene Hutelandschaft Rodachaue ist ein wahres Naturparadies. Die urtümliche Auenlandschaft strahlt Ruhe und Erholung aus und beherbergt viele seltene Tier- und Pflanzenarten. Einen guten Einblick in dieses Kleinod bietet das Dach des Beobachtungsstandes. Lassen Sie Ihren Blick über die Wiesen der Rodachaue schweifen. Mit ein bisschen Glück entdecken Sie Koniks und Heckenrinder, die hier grasen, um die Landschaft offen zu halten.

Ce parcours circulaire de deux heures de Stressenhausen à Leimrieth (et retour) passe devant les sources de la Rodach à Stressenhausen et Leimrieth. La Rodach est une rivière d'environ 42 km, qui traverse plusieurs fois la frontière entre la Bavière et la Thuringe et se jette finalement à l'ouest de Bodelstadt dans l'Itz. Un autre point fort sur les quelque 8 km du parcours est la vieille maison forestière, qui offre une bonne occasion de faire une belle pause. La lande à pâturer Rodachaue toute proche est un véritable paradis naturel. Ce paysage de prairie primitif dégage calme et détente et abrite de nombreuses espèces animales et végétales rares. Une bonne vue d'ensemble de ce bijou est offerte par le toit de la station d'observation. Laissez votre regard glisser sur les prairies de la Rodachaue. Avec un peu de chance, vous y découvrirez des Koniks et des bovins à haies qui paissent ici pour maintenir le paysage ouvert.

This two-hour circular route from Stressenhausen to Leimrieth (and back) passes by the Rodach springs in Stressenhausen and Leimrieth. schema:value @de <p>Die Tour beginnt gegenüber dem Landgasthof Stricker in Stressenhausen am Wegpunkt 71 und führt auf der Hauptstraße Richtung Hildburghausen fast bis an das Dorfende. Am WP 72 biegt der Weg links ab. Bald erreicht man die Stressenhäuser Rodachquelle. Ca. 100 m weiter biegt der Weg links auf einen Wiesenweg ab, der bei feuchter Witterung schlammig sein kann. Nach 400 m stößt der Wiesenweg wieder auf einen Fahrweg. Hier hält man sich rechts.</p> <p>Nach weiteren 600 m sieht man rechts ein Altes Forsthaus. Der Weg führt jedoch weiter im Grund über die Wiese und eine kleine Brücke, dann ca. 20 m weiter folgt man rechts bergauf einem Wiesenweg, bis man auf der Höhe auf einen Schotterweg stößt, auf den man links einbiegt. Er führt nach Leimrieth. An der Kirche biegt man links ab und folgt etwa 150 m der Hauptraße. Kurz hinter dem Ortsschild biegt man links ab und immer dem Werra-Obermain Radweg (WOM) zurück bis nach Stressenhausen, vorbei an der Leimriether Rodachquelle und dem ehemaligen Bahnhof Stressenhausen (WP 87).</p>

Am WP 72 biegt der Weg links ab. Bald erreicht man die Stressenhäuser Rodachquelle. Ca. 100 m weiter biegt der Weg links auf einen Wiesenweg ab, der bei feuchter Witterung schlammig sein kann. Nach 400 m stößt der Wiesenweg wieder auf einen Fahrweg. Hier hält man sich rechts. Nach weiteren 600 m sieht man rechts ein Altes Forsthaus. Der Weg führt jedoch weiter im Grund über die Wiese und eine kleine Brücke, dann ca. 20 m weiter folgt man rechts bergauf einem Wiesenweg, bis man auf der Höhe auf einen Schotterweg stößt, auf den man links einbiegt. Er führt nach Leimrieth. An der Kirche biegt man links ab und folgt etwa 150 m der Hauptraße. Kurz hinter dem Ortsschild biegt man links ab und immer dem Werra-Obermain Radweg (WOM) zurück bis nach Stressenhausen, vorbei an der Leimriether Rodachquelle und dem ehemaligen Bahnhof Stressenhausen (WP 87).
