Wie der Titel schon vermuten lässt, gibt es auf der einstündigen Wanderung viele Dinge zu erkunden. Zwischen Steinfeld und Eishausen kann man den kunstvoll gearbeiteten Schwanenbrunnen und die Tanzlinde bestaunen, die in früherer Zeit der Mittelpunkt dörflicher Feste und Bräuche war. Davon zeugt auch der Gerichtsstein. Außerdem besichtigen wir ein Backhaus und das Bergloch – ein kleiner, aber äußerst tiefer Tümpel, der selbst im Winter nicht zufriert. Unterhalb dieser Quelle befanden sich drei Mühlen in relativ kurzem Abstand, alle wurden vom Wasser des Berglochs angetrieben. Jeden letzten Sonntag im Mai wird in Steinfeld das „Berglochfest“ gefeiert. Das gewisse Extra bietet das Grab des Dunkelgrafen. Seit 1810 ranken sich viele Gerüchte um das sagenhafte „Dunkelgrafenpaar“ von Eishausen. War die Dunkelgräfin tatsächlich Prinzessin Marie Therese Charlotte von Frankreich und der Dunkelgraf ein niederländischer Diplomat? So erzählt es zumindest die Legende.

As the title suggests, there are many things to explore on this one-hour hike. Between Steinfeld and Eishausen, you can admire the intricately crafted Swan Fountain and the dancing lime tree, which was once the focal point of village festivals and customs. The court stone also bears witness to this. We also visit a bakehouse and the Bergloch – a small but exceptionally deep pond that does not freeze even in winter. Below this spring were three mills in relatively close proximity, all powered by the water of the Bergloch. Every last Sunday in May, the "Bergloch Festival" is celebrated in Steinfeld. The special highlight is the grave of the Dark Count. Since 1810, many rumors have surrounded the legendary "Dark Count couple" of Eishausen. Was the Dark Countess really Princess Marie Therese Charlotte of France and the Dark Count a Dutch diplomat? At least that is what the legend says.

Comme le suggère le titre, il y a beaucoup à découvrir lors de cette promenade d'une heure. Entre Steinfeld et Eishausen, on peut admirer la fontaine du cygne finement travaillée et le tilleul dansant, qui était autrefois au centre des fêtes et coutumes villageoises. Le « pierre de justice » en témoigne également. Nous visitons aussi un four à pain et le Bergloch – un petit bassin très profond qui ne gèle pas même en hiver. Sous cette source se trouvaient trois moulins assez proches les uns des autres, tous entraînés par l'eau du Bergloch. Chaque dernier dimanche de mai, la fête du « Bergloch » est célébrée à Steinfeld. Le détail particulier est la tombe du « comte sombre ». Depuis 1810, de nombreuses rumeurs entourent le légendaire « couple du comte sombre » d'Eishausen. La comtesse sombre était-elle vraiment la princesse Marie Thérèse Charlotte de France et le comte sombre un diplomate néerlandais ? C'est en tout cas ce que raconte la légende.
