Der 8 km lange Rundweg von Eisenhausen führt über Wald und Wiesen. Von dort geht es über Adelhausen an zwei Mühlen zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Für die Wanderung sollte man etwas über zwei Stunden einplanen. Diese Tour führt entlang der ehemaligen deutsch-deutschen Grenze. Im Schatten des Todesstreifens und im grenznahen Raum konnte sich die Natur weitgehend unberührt entwickeln. Viele seltene Tier- und Pflanzenarten sind daher hier noch zu finden.

Le circuit de 8 km depuis Eisenhausen traverse forêts et prés. De là, il passe par Adelhausen et deux moulins pour revenir au point de départ. Il faut prévoir un peu plus de deux heures pour cette randonnée. Ce parcours suit l'ancienne frontière allemande. À l'ombre de la zone de mort et dans les zones frontalières, la nature a pu se développer quasiment intacte. De nombreuses espèces animales et végétales rares peuvent donc encore s'y trouver.

Am Eishäuser Kuhberg, Wegepunkt (WP) 36, ein heute noch rege genutzter Festplatz, erinnert eine Gedenkstätte an die Gefallenen der verschiedenen Kriege. Von hier bietet sich ein hervorragender Fernblick bis weit ins Rodachtal, Frankenland und ins Grabfeld.</p> <p>Am WP 38 hält man sich rechts und biegt bei WP 59 rechts in einen Schotterweg. Vorbei am WP 60 hält man sich am WP 61 rechts und läuft bergab nach Massenhausen. Wer die Tour etwas ausdehnen möchte, läuft am WP 61 hinauf zum Waldrand, wo eine Sitzbankgruppe zur Rast einlädt, dann weiter entlang des Wandrandes. Noch bis kurz vor der Wende stand hier das dicht an der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze gelegene bekannte Massenhäuser Gestüt, welches 1986 gesprengt und eingeebnet wurde. </p> <p>In der Ortsmitte von Massenhausen wird das auf einer Tafel der Außenstationen des Zweiländermuseums dokumentiert. Auf dem Kolonnenweg kann man dann um Massenhausen herum wandern und stößt bei WP 64 auf den ursprünglichen Wegeverlauf. Von dort läuft man weiter auf dem Kolonnenweg und biegt am WP 55 rechts Richtung Adelhausen ab. Im Ort angekommen lohnt sich ein kurzer Abstecher zur Kirche. Sie ist ein Kleinod, wurde 1484 erbaut und gilt als älteste Steinkirche Südthüringens. Ab WP 58 folgen Sie der Beschilderung Mühlenwanderweg bis zum Ausgangspunkt, der Kirche Eishausen.</p>

Jusqu'à peu avant la chute du mur, le célèbre haras de Massenhausen, situé à proximité immédiate de l'ancienne frontière intérieure allemande, se trouvait là; il a été détruit et nivelé en 1986.</p> <p>Au centre du village de Massenhausen, cela est documenté sur une plaque des stations extérieures du musée des deux pays. Man beginnt die Tour in Eishausen an der Tanzlinde und läuft bergauf in die Straße am Schulberg. Am Eishäuser Kuhberg, Wegepunkt (WP) 36, ein heute noch rege genutzter Festplatz, erinnert eine Gedenkstätte an die Gefallenen der verschiedenen Kriege. Von hier bietet sich ein hervorragender Fernblick bis weit ins Rodachtal, Frankenland und ins Grabfeld. Am WP 38 hält man sich rechts und biegt bei WP 59 rechts in einen Schotterweg. Vorbei am WP 60 hält man sich am WP 61 rechts und läuft bergab nach Massenhausen. Wer die Tour etwas ausdehnen möchte, läuft am WP 61 hinauf zum Waldrand, wo eine Sitzbankgruppe zur Rast einlädt, dann weiter entlang des Wandrandes. Noch bis kurz vor der Wende stand hier das dicht an der ehemaligen innerdeutschen Grenze gelegene bekannte Massenhäuser Gestüt, welches 1986 gesprengt und eingeebnet wurde. In der Ortsmitte von Massenhausen wird das auf einer Tafel der Außenstationen des Zweiländermuseums dokumentiert. Auf dem Kolonnenweg kann man dann um Massenhausen herum wandern und stößt bei WP 64 auf den ursprünglichen Wegeverlauf. Von dort läuft man weiter auf dem Kolonnenweg und biegt am WP 55 rechts Richtung Adelhausen ab. Im Ort angekommen lohnt sich ein kurzer Abstecher zur Kirche. Sie ist ein Kleinod, wurde 1484 erbaut und gilt als älteste Steinkirche Südthüringens. Ab WP 58 folgen Sie der Beschilderung Mühlenwanderweg bis zum Ausgangspunkt, der Kirche Eishausen.
