Zu Beginn der Tour kann man die älteste Kirche Ummerstadts besichtigen, ehe man der Tour Richtung Bad Colberg folgt. Durch die erhöhte Lage der Kirche bietet sich ein wudnerbarer Blick über die Stadt. Schließich machen wir uns auf den Weg und folgen der gut ausgeschilderten Strecke. In Bad Colberg lädt die Terrassentherme zu einem längeren Wellness-Aufenthalt ein. Danach geht es zurück nach Ummerstadt. Bevor wir den Ort wieder erreichen, können wir noch eine Außenstation des Zweiländermuseums Rodachtal besuchen.

At the beginning of the tour, you can visit the oldest church in Ummerstadt before following the route towards Bad Colberg. Due to the elevated location of the church, there is a wonderful view over the town. Finally, we set off and follow the well-marked route. In Bad Colberg, the Terrassentherme invites you to a longer wellness stay. Afterwards, it goes back to Ummerstadt. Au début de la randonnée, on peut visiter la plus ancienne église d'Ummerstadt avant de suivre le parcours en direction de Bad Colberg. Grâce à la position élevée de l'église, une vue magnifique sur la ville s'offre à vous. Ensuite, nous nous mettons en route et suivons le parcours bien balisé. À Bad Colberg, la Terrassentherme invite à un séjour bien-être prolongé. Ensuite, retour vers Ummerstadt. Avant d'atteindre de nouveau la ville, nous pouvons visiter une station extérieure du musée des deux pays Rodachtal.

Oben angekommen, bietet sich dem Besucher ein herrlicher Blick über die Stadt. Der Weg führt rechts am Friedhof entlang weiter hinauf auf die Höhe bis zu einem Schotterweg. Dort biegt man links ab und folgt der Beschilderung für den Rundwanderweg U2. Ab Wegepunkt (WP) 4 geht es weiter geradeaus über einen Schotterweg bis zum WP 5. Dort stößt man auf die Hauptstraße in Richtung Bad Colberg. Man läuft weiter in den Ort. In Bad Colberg lädt Thüringens Terassentherme zum Entspannen und Wohlfühlen ein.  Nach einer kurzen Ortsbesichtigung und eventuellen Einkehr in einem der Gasthäuser tritt man den Rückweg über den Rad- und Wanderweg in Richtung Ummerstadt an. Kurz vor Ummerstadt befindet sich rechts eine Außenstation des Zweiländermuseums Rodachtal. Nach weiteren 100 m gelangt man auf die Ortsverbindungsstraße Ummerstadt – Lindenau. Hier biegt man links ab. Über die Steinbogenbrücke, die hier die Rodach überspannt, die Brückenstraße und den Viehmarkt und vorbei an der Bartholomäuskirche gelangt man schließlich zurück auf den Marktplatz von Ummerstadt.

Over the stone arch bridge, which spans the Rodach here, the Brückenstraße and the Viehmarkt and past the Bartholomäuskirche, you finally reach back to the marketplace of Ummerstadt.

En traversant le pont en arc de pierre qui enjambe la Rodach, puis la Brückenstraße et le marché aux bestiaux, et en passant devant l'église Saint-Barthélemy, on revient finalement sur la place du marché d'Ummerstadt.

Là, on tourne à gauche et on suit la signalisation du sentier circulaire U2. À partir du point de cheminement (WP) 4, on continue tout droit le long d'un sentier gravillonné jusqu'au WP 5. Là, on rejoint la route principale en direction de Bad Colberg. On continue à pied vers le village. À Bad Colberg, la Terrassentherme de Thuringe invite à la détente et au bien-être. </p> <p>Après une brève visite du village et une éventuelle étape dans l'une des auberges, on emprunte le chemin de retour sur la piste cyclable et le sentier en direction d'Ummerstadt. Peu avant Ummerstadt, se trouve à droite une station extérieure du musée des deux pays Rodachtal. Après environ 100 m, on arrive sur la route reliant Ummerstadt à Lindenau. Là, on tourne à gauche. En traversant le pont en arc de pierre qui enjambe la Rodach, puis la Brückenstraße et le marché aux bestiaux, et en passant devant l'église Saint-Barthélemy, on revient finalement sur la place du marché d'Ummerstadt.</p>

Once at the top, visitors are offered a magnificent view over the town. The path leads along the right side of the cemetery further up to the height until a gravel path. In Bad Colberg, Thuringia's Terrassentherme invites you to relax and feel good. </p> <p>After a short tour of the town and possible stop at one of the inns, you take the return route along the bike and hiking trail towards Ummerstadt. Shortly before Ummerstadt, an external station of the Zweiländermuseum Rodachtal is located on the right. After another 100 m, you reach the connecting road Ummerstadt – Lindenau. Here, turn left. Over the stone arch bridge, which spans the Rodach here, the Brückenstraße and the Viehmarkt and past the Bartholomäuskirche, you finally reach back to the marketplace of Ummerstadt.</p>
