Rund um die Orte Eicha und Witzmannsberg wandern wir durch Wälder und Felder und kommen zu schönen Rastplätzen. Auf der gemütlichen Runde kann man die Natur ausgiebig genießen. Die Strecke ist gut ausgeschildert und bietet tolle Aussichten auf den Ort Schafhof und den Schlossturm des dahinter gelegenen Burg Hohenstein. Wer mehr über das Schloss erfahren möchte, historisch interessiert ist oder einfach gerne Burgen und Schlösser besucht, kann einen kleinen Abstecher zum Schloss Hohenstein machen – dazu hinter Eicha dem Amtsbotenweg folgen. Man gelangt über den Ort Schafhof zum Schloss oder umgeht den Ort und steigt direkt die Anhöhe hinauf. In Witzmannsberg ist die Kirche St. Johannes der Täufer sehenswert. Der von einer Kirchenmauer umgebene Bau steht auf einer kleinen Erhebung. Ursprünglich im Mittelalter erbaut, wurde die Kirche im Laufe der Zeit immer wieder umgestaltet und durch weitere Bauteile ergänzt.

Around the villages of Eicha and Witzmannsberg, we hike through forests and fields and come to beautiful resting places. On the leisurely route, you can fully enjoy nature. The path is well signposted and offers great views of the village of Schafhof and the castle tower of the nearby Hohenstein Castle. Anyone who wants to learn more about the castle, is interested in history, or simply likes visiting castles can take a short detour to Hohenstein Castle – for this, follow the Amtsbotenweg behind Eicha. You can reach the castle via the village of Schafhof or bypass the village and climb directly up the hill. In Witzmannsberg, the church of St. John the Baptist is worth seeing. The building, surrounded by a church wall, stands on a small elevation. Originally built in the Middle Ages, the church has been repeatedly remodeled and extended with additional components over time.

Autour des localités d'Eicha et Witzmannsberg, nous marchons à travers forêts et champs et arrivons à de beaux lieux de repos. Sur ce parcours tranquille, on peut profiter pleinement de la nature. La voie est bien balisée et offre de magnifiques vues sur le village de Schafhof et la tour du château de Burg Hohenstein situé derrière. Ceux qui souhaitent en savoir plus sur le château, qui s'intéressent à l'histoire ou qui aiment simplement visiter châteaux et forteresses, peuvent faire un petit détour jusqu'au château de Hohenstein – pour cela, il faut suivre le Amtsbotenweg derrière Eicha. On accède au château via le village de Schafhof ou on contourne le village pour monter directement sur la colline. À Witzmannsberg, l'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste vaut le détour. Ce bâtiment entouré d'un mur d'église se situe sur une petite élévation. Construite à l'origine au Moyen Âge, l'église a été transformée à plusieurs reprises au fil du temps et complétée par d'autres parties.

thuecat:directions @de Die Tour beginnt am Freizeitzentrum in Ahorn/Witzmannsberg. Ein Fußweg führt an der Kulturhalle des Freizeitzentrums vorbei. Im Wald folgt man der Ausschilderung geradeaus weiter zur Sportanlage der Spvg Eicha. Hier befindet sich auch ein Aktivrastplatz mit Schutzhütte. Am Ausgang der Sportanlage weiter auf der Teerstraße nach rechts Richtung Eicha. Kurz nach der Trafostation links abbiegen, vorbei am Friedhof. An der Flurwegkreuzung rechts abbiegen. Ein geteerter Flurweg führt zur Brunnenanlage Eicha. Eine Rastpause ist hier möglich. Der Wanderweg kreuzt nun die Ortsverbindungsstraße von der B303 nach Eicha. Ein Teich mit überdachter Sitzgruppe lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der Flurweg führt geradeaus weiter in Richtung einer frei stehenden Feldscheune. Unmittelbar danach überquert der Wanderweg die Ortsverbindungsstraße Schafhof/Eicha. Ab hier begleiten der Amtsbotenweg und der Rodachtalrundweg auf einer Teilstrecke den Brunnenweg. Nach der Kreuzung sind die Häuser von Schafhof und der Schlossturm Hohensteins zu sehen. Im Erlengrund führt der Höllweg nach Witzmannsberg. Es geht vorbei an einer Sitzbank und den Häusern Eichas. In Kurven schlängelt sich der Weg nach Witzmannsberg. Hier rechts abbiegen in die Brunnenstraße. Nach dem Buswendeplatz biegt man links auf die Ortsverbindungsstraße Richtung Seßlach und läuft bis zum Pumpenhäuschen der Gemeinde Ahorn. Nun geht es auf den Flurweg Richtung Ulrichstock. Kurz nach den Stallungen der Schweinezuchtanlage rechts in den Feldweg zur Streuobstwiese abbiegen. Hier wird der Amtsbotenweg verlassen. Auf der Streuobstwiese lädt eine Schutzhütte mit Sitzgruppe zur Rast ein. Nun der Wegekennzeichnung bis zur Kirche in Witzmannsberg folgen. Die renovierte katholische Kirche St. Johannes Witzmannsberg lohnt einen Besuch. Am Friedhof dem Kirchweg bis zum Ausgangspunkt folgen.

Dans la forêt, suivre le balisage tout droit jusqu'à l'aire sportive de la Spvg Eicha. On y trouve également un lieu de repos actif avec un abri. À la sortie de l'aire sportive, continuer sur la route goudronnée à droite en direction d'Eicha. Peu après la station de transformation, tourner à gauche en passant devant le cimetière. À la croisée des chemins, tourner à droite. Un chemin goudronné mène à la source d'eau d'Eicha. Il est possible de faire une pause ici. Le chemin passe près d’un banc et des maisons d'Eicha. En courbes, le chemin serpente vers Witzmannsberg. Là, tourner à droite dans la Brunnenstraße. Après le terminus de bus, tourner à gauche sur la route reliant les communes en direction de Seßlach et marcher jusqu'à la station de pompage de la commune d'Ahorn. Ensuite, emprunter le chemin en direction d'Ulrichstock. Peu après les bâtiments de l’élevage de porcs, tourner à droite vers le chemin menant au verger. Ici, on quitte le Amtsbotenweg. Dans le verger, un abri avec coin repos invite à la pause. Suivre ensuite la signalisation jusqu'à l'église de Witzmannsberg. La catholique église Saint-Jean de Witzmannsberg récemment rénovée vaut la visite. Au cimetière, suivre le chemin de l'église jusqu'au point de départ.

After the bus turning area, turn left onto the local connecting road towards Seßlach and walk to the pumping station of the municipality of Ahorn. Now head onto the field path towards Ulrichstock. Shortly after the pig breeding facility stables, turn right onto the field path to the orchard meadow. Here the Amtsbotenweg is left behind. At the orchard meadow, a shelter with seating invites you to rest. Now follow the path markings to the church in Witzmannsberg. The renovated Catholic church of St. Johannes Witzmannsberg is worth a visit. At the cemetery, follow the church path back to the starting point.

Ein Teich mit überdachter Sitzgruppe lädt zum Verweilen ein.</p> <p>Der Flurweg führt geradeaus weiter in Richtung einer frei stehenden Feldscheune. Unmittelbar danach überquert der Wanderweg die Ortsverbindungsstraße Schafhof/Eicha. Ab hier begleiten der Amtsbotenweg und der Rodachtalrundweg auf einer Teilstrecke den Brunnenweg. Nach der Kreuzung sind die Häuser von Schafhof und der Schlossturm Hohensteins zu sehen. Im Erlengrund führt der Höllweg nach Witzmannsberg. Es geht vorbei an einer Sitzbank und den Häusern Eichas. In Kurven schlängelt sich der Weg nach Witzmannsberg. Hier rechts abbiegen in die Brunnenstraße.</p> <p>Nach dem Buswendeplatz biegt man links auf die Ortsverbindungsstraße Richtung Seßlach und läuft bis zum Pumpenhäuschen der Gemeinde Ahorn. Nun geht es auf den Flurweg Richtung Ulrichstock. Kurz nach den Stallungen der Schweinezuchtanlage rechts in den Feldweg zur Streuobstwiese abbiegen. Hier wird der Amtsbotenweg verlassen. Auf der Streuobstwiese lädt eine Schutzhütte mit Sitzgruppe zur Rast ein. Nun der Wegekennzeichnung bis zur Kirche in Witzmannsberg folgen. Die renovierte katholische Kirche St. Johannes Witzmannsberg lohnt einen Besuch. Am Friedhof dem Kirchweg bis zum Ausgangspunkt folgen.</p>
