Die 7 km lange Route ist ein Wanderweg für Genießer. Zwischen Wald und Lichtung bietet sich ein wunderschönes Panorama. Für die an der Ländergrenze Bayerns und dem Herzogtum Coburg gelegene Strecke sollte man rund 2 Stunden Gehzeit berechnen. Aufgrund der geringen Steigung bietet sich die Tour auch für nicht allzu geübte Wanderer an.

Le parcours de 7 km est un sentier de randonnée pour les amateurs de plaisirs. Entre forêt et clairière, un magnifique panorama s'offre à vous. Pour le sentier situé à la frontière entre la Bavière et le duché de Cobourg, comptez environ 2 heures de marche. En raison de la faible pente, le parcours convient également aux marcheurs peu expérimentés.

schema:value @de <p>Die Tour beginnt in Ahorn am Parkplatz der Alten Schäferei. Von hier geht es bis zu Wegepunkt (WP) 21. Hier trifft man auf die erste Wegekennzeichnung. Zwischen der Schäferei und dem Waldeck bietet sich eine hervorragende Aussicht. Die WP 22, 23 und 24 leiten hinauf auf dem Hühnerberg mit Sendemast. An der nächsten Wegkreuzung geht es rechts zum Kutschweg hinaus. Auf dem Kutschweg bis zum Parkplatz am Ende des Kutschweges.</p> <p>Nun überquert man die B 303. Der historische „Zentstein“ unmittelbar an der Bundesstraße bleibt links liegen. Er markierte mit seinen Eingravierungen die Ländergrenze zwischen Bayern und dem Herzogtum Coburg. Es geht weiter Richtung Ahorn bis zur nahe gelegenen Waldecke. Ein Wanderschild leitet jetzt links ab auf dem Sandberg. Im Wald, bei WP 15 rechts ab. Der Weg führt zum Wasserbehälter auf dem Sandberg. Die überdachte Sitzgruppe auf der Lichtung lädt zur Rast ein. Auf dem Panoramahöhenweg Sandberg geht es jetzt weiter.</p> <p>An der Waldecke bei WP 17 zeigt ein Hinweisschild zur ein paar Meter entfernten „Hohen Fichte“. Der Rundblick ist hier überwältigend. Nun folgt der Rundweg der Ortsstraße Fichtenweg die Rennbahn hinauf. Am Littenacker geht es wieder abwärts in die Wüstenahorner Straße. Jetzt nach rechts zum Natur- und Flurdenkmal „Carls-Ruhe“. Die Alte Straße führt vorbei an der Mauritiusschule und der Dreifachturnhalle bis zum „Steinernen Tisch“. Nach dem „Steinernen Tisch“ rechts ab in den Forstweg-Schleifschrotweg bis zum Baustofflager der Gemeinde Ahorn.</p> <p>Jetzt wird die B 303 vorsichtig überquert. Danach schräg gegenüber hinauf auf den Flurweg-Schaftrieb, zur Waldecke WP 21 oberhalb der Schäferei und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.</p>

Follow the Kutschweg to the parking lot at the end of the Kutschweg.</p> <p>Now cross B 303. The historic "Zentstein" immediately at the federal road remains on the left. It marked with its engravings the border between Bavaria and the Duchy of Coburg. Continue towards Ahorn to the nearby forest corner. A hiking sign now leads left onto the Sandberg. In the forest, turn right at WP 15. The path leads to the water reservoir on the Sandberg. The covered seating area in the clearing invites you to rest. Continue now on the panoramic high trail Sandberg.</p> <p>At the forest corner at WP 17, a sign points to the "Hohe Fichte" a few meters away. The panoramic view here is overwhelming. Now the circular trail follows the local road Fichtenweg up the racetrack. At Littenacker it goes downhill again into Wüstenahorner Straße. Now turn right to the natural and cultural monument "Carls-Ruhe". Alte Straße leads past the Mauritiusschule and the triple gymnasium to the "Steinerner Tisch". After the "Steinerner Tisch" turn right into the forest path Schleifschrotweg up to the building materials depot of the municipality of Ahorn.</p> <p>Now cross B 303 carefully. Afterwards go diagonally opposite up the Flurweg-Schaftrieb, to forest corner WP 21 above the Schäferei, and back to the starting point.</p>

Puis tourner à droite vers le monument naturel et paysager « Carls-Ruhe ». L'ancienne rue passe devant l'école Mauritius et le gymnase triple jusqu'à la « table en pierre ». Après cette table, tourner à droite sur le chemin forestier Schleifschrotweg jusqu'à l'entrepôt de matériaux de la commune d'Ahorn.</p> <p>On traverse ensuite prudemment la B 303. Der Weg führt zum Wasserbehälter auf dem Sandberg. Die überdachte Sitzgruppe auf der Lichtung lädt zur Rast ein. Auf dem Panoramahöhenweg Sandberg geht es jetzt weiter. An der Waldecke bei WP 17 zeigt ein Hinweisschild zur ein paar Meter entfernten „Hohen Fichte“. Der Rundblick ist hier überwältigend. Nun folgt der Rundweg der Ortsstraße Fichtenweg die Rennbahn hinauf. Am Littenacker geht es wieder abwärts in die Wüstenahorner Straße. Jetzt nach rechts zum Natur- und Flurdenkmal „Carls-Ruhe“. Die Alte Straße führt vorbei an der Mauritiusschule und der Dreifachturnhalle bis zum „Steinernen Tisch“. Nach dem „Steinernen Tisch“ rechts ab in den Forstweg-Schleifschrotweg bis zum Baustofflager der Gemeinde Ahorn. Jetzt wird die B 303 vorsichtig überquert. Danach schräg gegenüber hinauf auf den Flurweg-Schaftrieb, zur Waldecke WP 21 oberhalb der Schäferei und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt.
