Die Etappe Seßlach-Coburg des Friedrich Rückert-Weges ist in beide Richtungen begehbar. Sie ist ein Teil des nach dem Lyriker und Orientalisten Friedrich Rückert benannten Fernwanderweges, der entlang verschiedener Stationen seines Lebensweges führt. Auf rund 21 km wandert man gemütlich in fünf bis sechs Stunden vom idyllischen Rodachtal durch das Coburger Land in die ehemalige Residenzstadt Coburg. Der Weg wartet mit landschaftlicher Schönheit auf und bietet Einkehrmöglichkeiten mit guter, fränkischer Küche. Entlang der Route laden zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Gerätemuseum Ahorn oder das Sommerhaus Rückerts zum Verweilen ein, allein für die mittelalterliche Altstadt von Seßlach und die historische Innenstadt Coburgs sollte genügend Zeit eingeplant werden.

L’étape Seßlach-Coburg du chemin Friedrich Rückert est praticable dans les deux sens. Elle fait partie du sentier de grande randonnée nommé d’après le poète et orientaliste Friedrich Rückert, qui suit différentes étapes de sa vie. Sur environ 21 km, on marche tranquillement en cinq à six heures de la paisible vallée de la Rodach à travers la région de Cobourg jusqu’à l’ancienne ville résidentielle de Cobourg. Le chemin offre une beauté paysagère et propose des possibilités de restauration avec une bonne cuisine franconienne. De nombreuses curiosités comme le musée des outils d’Ahorn ou la maison d’été de Rückert invitent à s’attarder le long de la route, et assez de temps devrait être prévu pour la vieille ville médiévale de Seßlach et le centre historique de Cobourg.

The Seßlach-Coburg stage of the Friedrich Rückert Path is walkable in both directions. It is part of the long-distance hiking trail named after the poet and Orientalist Friedrich Rückert, which follows various stations of his life journey. Over approximately 21 km, you can stroll leisurely in five to six hours from the idyllic Rodach valley through the Coburg region to the former residential city of Coburg. The path awaits with scenic beauty and offers refreshment opportunities with good Franconian cuisine. Along the route, numerous sights such as the Equipment Museum Ahorn or Rückert's summer house invite you to linger; enough time should be planned especially for the medieval old town of Seßlach and the historic city center of Coburg.

Sie ist ein Teil des nach dem Lyriker und Orientalisten Friedrich Rückert benannten Fernwanderweges, der entlang verschiedener Stationen seines Lebensweges führt. Auf rund 21 km wandert man gemütlich in fünf bis sechs Stunden vom idyllischen Rodachtal durch das Coburger Land in die ehemalige Residenzstadt Coburg. Ein möglicher Startpunkt ist der Marktplatz des verwunschenen, hinter uralten Mauern versteckten Städtchens Seßlach. Die Stadt war Dank ihrer mittelalterlichen Kulisse bereits häufiger Drehort und lädt bereits vor dem Start mit schmucken Wirtshäusern, fränkischer Küche und idyllischer Altstadt zum Bummeln ein. Der Weg verlässt Seßlach durch das Geyersberger Tor und verläuft einige Meter parallel zur Straße bis zu einem Abzweig links, der durch die Flur um Schloss Geyersberg führt. Weiter durch den schattenspendenden Bürgerwald erreicht man entlang der Markierungen die Ortschaft Krumbach. Von dort geht es über den Ullrichstock ins benachbarte Witzmannsberg und am Ortsrand weiter Richtung Eicha. Entlang der Strecke laden Ausblicke bis zur Heldburg im benachbarten Thüringen, Sitzgruppen, Skulpturen und Flurkreuze zum kurzen Innehalten und Rasten ein. Vorbei an Schafhof gelangt man über Wald- und Feldwege zur Alten Schäferei. Hier wird der Wanderer von einem wolligen Begrüßungskomitee willkommen geheißen, dem vor dem Aussterben geretteten Coburger Fuchsschaf. Der zum Museum umgebaute Gutshof am Rande von Ahorn lässt Jahrhunderte landwirtschaftlicher Geschichte lebendig werden. Der Gang durch die Ausstellung und die anschließende Rast in Gaststube und Biergarten der Schäferstube sind ein Muss. Gestärkt geht es weiter in Richtung Coburg durch die Ortsmitte von Ahorn vorbei an Schloss und Schlosskirche. Nach einer kurzen Wegstrecke über den Ahorner Berg geht es hinab in die Residenzstadt Coburg. Durch den Stadtteil Ketschendorf und den Rosengarten geht es in die Altstadt von Coburg mit ihrem im 15. Jahrhundert angelegten Marktplatz, umringt von herrschaftlichen Renaissancegebäuden. Die Stadt Coburg als Zentrum der Region, mit vielfältigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Shoppingmöglichkeiten und kulinarischen Genüssen lädt zum Verweilen und Übernachten ein. Das Ziel, der Friedrich-Rückert-Park mit Denkmal und Grab des Dichters, liegt im Stadtteil Neuses und ist nach ca. 40 Minuten Gehzeit vom Marktplatz aus zu erreichen. Hier bietet sich ein zehnminütiger Abstecher zum Sommerhaus des Dichters auf dem Goldberg, am gleichnamigen See, an.

Revigoré, le chemin continue vers Cobourg en traversant le centre d’Ahorn, passant par le château et l’église du château. Après une courte distance sur la colline d’Ahorn, la descente mène à la ville résidentielle de Cobourg.
