Le parcours peut être combiné avec une visite de la église Saint-Martin à Lauchröden. Elle offre un point de vue magnifique sur la vallée de la Werra avec la ruine de Brandenburg sur le chemin vers le Böller. Le Sallmannshäuser Rennsteig dans la forêt est facile à parcourir. The route can be combined with a visit to the Martinskirche in Lauchröden. It offers a wonderful view of the Werra valley with the Brandenburg ruin on the way to the Böller. The Sallmannshäuser Rennsteig in the forest is pleasant to walk. A special experience is walking directly on the Werra bank, on the Green Band. In the middle of the Werra was the border between two world systems. The border installations cut through the landscape and separated people and places. Nature has reclaimed the "10-meter strip": today the path along the Werra is a romantic section of the hike. The "Bridge of Unity" was blown up by the US Army in 1945. In 1989, the year of change, it was initially rebuilt as a pedestrian bridge and inaugurated on December 23, 1989. Since then, people from Lauchröden, Herleshausen, and many visitors annually celebrate the "Bridge Festival" on December 23 and remember the exciting days of the time of change with gratitude. Die Tour kann mit einem Besuch der Martinskirche in Lauchröden verbunden werden. Sie bietet auf dem Weg zum Böller einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Werratal mit der Ruine Brandenburg. Der Sallmannshäuser Rennsteig im Wald lässt sich gut laufen. Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist das Laufen direkt am Werraufer, am Grünen Band. In der Werramitte war die Grenze zwischen zwei Weltsystemen. Die Grenzanlagen zerschnitten die Landschaft und trennten Menschen und Orte. Die Natur hat sich den "10-Meter-Streifen" erobert: heute ist der Weg an der Werra ein romantischer Abschnitt der Wanderung. Die "Brücke der Einheit" wurde 1945 von der US-Armee gesprengt. 1989 im Wendejahr wurde sie zunächst als Fußgängerbrücke wieder errichtet und am 23. Dezember 1989 eingeweiht. Seitdem begehen Lauchröder, Herleshäuser und viele Besucher jährlich das "Brückenfest" am 23. Dezember und erinnern an die aufregenden Tage der Wendezeit mit Dankbarkeit. Einkehrmöglichkeiten sind in Lauchröden vorhanden.

Weiter gehts etwas bergauf, Wald beginnt. Der Weg trifft auf den<strong> Sallmannshäuser Rennsteig (SR)</strong> , Sie biegen nach rechts ab. Schon nach ca. 200 m halten Sie sich an einer Schutzhütte wieder rechts und verlassen den SR . Ca. 600 m weiter an einem Wegekreuz halten Sie sich Mitte-rechts, nehmen also nicht den ganz rechten Weg, sondern den links davon, der etwas bergab führt.
