Das Schulgebäude der Hermann-Lietz-Schule Haubinda wurde 1901 erbaut und ist durchaus sehenswert. Rundherum befindet sich ein idyllisches Gelände mit dem Schulbauernhof und dem Grab von Hermann Lietz. Seidingstadt ist der Geburtsort von Prinzessin Therese von Sachsen-Hildburghausen. Ihre Hochzeit mit Ludwig von Bayern ist der Ursprung und Anlass des bis heute gefeierten Oktoberfestes auf der Münchner Theresienwiese. Am Ortsausgang passieren wir den Schlosspark. Besonders im Frühling besticht der Wald um den Straufhain mit Blütenteppichen aus Märzenbechern, Buschwindröschen und vielem mehr und auch Bärlauchfreunde kommen hier auf ihre Kosten. Auf dem Gipfel des Straufhains thront die Burgruine „Strauf“.

Le bâtiment scolaire de l'école Hermann-Lietz de Haubinda a été construit en 1901 et vaut vraiment la visite. Autour se trouve un domaine idyllique avec la ferme de l'école et la tombe de Hermann Lietz. Seidingstadt est le lieu de naissance de la princesse Thérèse de Saxe-Hildburghausen. Son mariage avec Louis de Bavière est à l'origine et la raison de la célébration jusqu'à aujourd'hui de la fête d'octobre sur la Theresienwiese à Munich. À la sortie du village, nous passons devant le parc du château. Au printemps en particulier, la forêt autour de Straufhain séduit avec des tapis de fleurs de perce-neige, anémones des bois et bien d'autres, et les amateurs d'ail des ours y trouvent aussi leur compte. Au sommet de Straufhain trône la ruine du château « Strauf ».

Ihre Hochzeit mit Ludwig von Bayern ist der Ursprung und Anlass des bis heute gefeierten Oktoberfestes auf der Münchner Theresienwiese. Man folgt der Ortsstraße ein kleines Stück nach rechts und dann den Wegweisern in Richtung Straufhain vorbei am Schlosspark. Die abwechslungsreiche Strecke führt durch einen Wald, der jederzeit einen besonderen Reiz ausstrahlt. Hat man den Gipfel des Straufhains erreicht, kann man einen Blick in die Ruine der Burg „Strauf“ werfen.</p> <p>Für den Abstieg wählt man zunächst denselben Weg Richtung Seidingstadt. Nach dem Verlassen des Waldes biegt man an der nächsten Kreuzung rechts ab. Eine gute Orientierungsmöglichkeit bietet dabei eine alte Eiche, die man nach kurzer Zeit passiert. Von hier an folgt man den Schildern Richtung Streufdorf. Im Ort angekommen lohnt auf jeden Fall ein Besuch des Zweiländermuseums und des „Cafe im Hof“. Am Ortsausgang biegt man in der Nähe der Haltestelle rechts ab und folgt der Beschilderung zurück nach Haubinda.</p>
