Picknickdecke einpacken, Lunchpaket schnüren und Entenfutter einstecken! So lautet das Motto dieser Tour, die das Erlebnis Fahrrad mit einer ausführlichen Runde Schwimmsport verbindet. Sie führt von Bad Rodach in weitläufige, landwirtschaftlich genutzte Flur. Begegnungen mit Bauern, die frisches Gras schneiden oder ihr reifes Getreide einholen, sind vorprogrammiert. Wer bei ihrem Anblick auf den Geschmack kommt, dem sei hinter Beiersdorf ein Abstecher in ein landwirtschaftliches Kleinod empfohlen. Hierzu müssen Sie sich genau dort, wo der Weg links den Goldbergsee „überquert“, für die rechte Abzweigung entscheiden und nach 100 steilen Metern an einem Parkplatz erneut rechts abbiegen. Jetzt stehen Sie vor einem Versuchsbauernhof von 1863. Prinz Albert, Gemahl der britischen Queen Victoria, inspirierte seinen Coburger Bruder, ihn für Experimente zur Produktionssteigerung zu errichten. Heute hat hier die Rudolf-Steiner-Schule ihr Zuhause. Der Goldbergsee selbst ist ein Paradies für Wasservögel und lädt zu Erkundungen ebenso wie zu einem langen Genießeraufenthalt ein. Enten quaken und in einer Schutzzone brüten seltene Arten. Direkt am See steigt der schattige Goldberg auf. An seine Ostseite versteckt sich im Wald die Schreibwerkstatt des Dichters Friedrich Rückert, der dort viele seiner Werke zu Papier brachte. Ihr perfekter Ort für ein Picknick.

Ceux qui se laissent tenter par leur vue sont invités à faire un détour derrière Beiersdorf vers un petit joyau agricole. Pour cela, il faut exactement à l'endroit où le chemin traverse le lac Goldberg sur la gauche, tourner à droite, puis après 100 mètres en montée raide, tourner de nouveau à droite sur un parking. Vous voilà devant une ferme expérimentale de 1863. Le prince Albert, époux de la reine Victoria d'Angleterre, a inspiré son frère de Cobourg à la faire construire pour mener des expériences d'augmentation de la productivité. Aujourd'hui, l'école Rudolf Steiner y a trouvé sa maison. Le lac Goldberg lui-même est un paradis pour les oiseaux d'eau et invite autant à des explorations qu'à un long séjour de détente. Les canards caquètent et dans une zone protégée nichent des espèces rares. Juste à côté du lac s'élève le Goldberg ombragé. Sur son flanc est cachée dans la forêt l'atelier d'écriture du poète Friedrich Rückert, qui y a mis sur papier beaucoup de ses œuvres. L'endroit parfait pour un pique-nique.

If this whets your appetite, a detour behind Beiersdorf is recommended to a small agricultural gem. Now you are standing in front of an experimental farm from 1863. Prince Albert, husband of British Queen Victoria, inspired his Coburg brother to build it for experiments to increase production.
