Auf seiner Spitze befindet sich ein Aussichtsturm, die „Henneberger Warte“. Er wurde am 30. Mai 1987 eingeweiht, ist 30 Meter hoch und hat 132 Stufen. Der Eintritt ist frei. Vom Aussichtsturm aus hat man einen fantastischen Blick auf die Rhön, Thüringer Wald, Vierzehnheiligen, Kloster Banz, Veste Coburg, Veste Heldburg und Straufhain.
