Im dünn besiedelten Gebiet an der ehemaligen Deutsch-Deutschen Grenze konnte sich in den Jahren der deutschen Teilung eine einzigartige Fauna und Flora entwickeln, die nach der Grenzöffnung als Schutzgebiet „Grünes Band“ eingestuft wurde. Tiefenbrunn liegt unweit des Dreiländerecks von Sachsen, Bayern und Böhmen. Am Kammweg umwandern sie den Ort, die Aussicht nach Böhmen und Bayern genießend. Ein alter Hohlweg führt Sie in die Nähe des Weißen Steines. Hier bietet sich die Gelegenheit zur Rast, bevor es auf den Platzerberg geht. Der Europäische Fernwanderweg E3 durchläuft dieses Gebiet vom Dreiländereck kommend und quert den Kammweg kurz nach Tiefenbrunn. Bis zum Platzerberg wechselt der Wegebelag von Asphalt auf befestigten und später auf verwachsenen Waldweg zum sanft ansteigenden „Gipfel“. Von dort wandern Sie zum Weiler Haselrain und weiter in Richtung Bobenneukirchen, meist im Fichtenwald, teilweise unterbrochen durch Wiesen und Lichtungen. Wenn der Wald sich öffnet, sehen Sie bald die ersten Häuser von Bobenneukirchen. Vorbei am Bad kommen Sie ins Ortszentrum mit der Talsperre Dröda als Anziehungspunkt. Der Kammweg führt Sie direkt entlang der Talsperre bis nach Engelhardtsgrün. Bis dahin passieren Sie die Vorsperre Bobenneukirchen und erleben nach einer Wanderung entlang des Waldrandes einen fantastischen Ausblick in das westliche Vogtland. Geradewegs im Ortskern von Engelhardtsgrün angekommen, erwartet Sie ein Rastplatz zum Verschnaufen. Dann geht es leicht bergab zur Vorsperre Ramoldsreuth. An den gleichnamigen Ort, der beim Bau der Talsperre Dröda weichen musste, erinnert heute eine Hinweistafel unweit der Bundesstraße B173. Der Kammweg arbeitet sich nun im Zick-Zack meist am Waldrand auf naturnahem Untergrund bergan. Die Panoramablicke genießend wandern Sie durch die Auenlandschaft am Weißigbach nahe der A72. Das Rauschen der Autobahn verliert sich, und mit jedem Meter wird die Aussicht grandioser, bis Sie am Anwesen von Schwarzenreuth angekommen sind. Auf und Ab gehen Sie über die „Vordere Platte“. Links und rechts des Weges bieten sich herrliche Aussichtsmöglichkeiten, bevor der Pfad hinab zum Wanderparkplatz an den Burgsteinruinen führt. Damit ist das Etappenziel erreicht. Tipp: Als kleiner Ausblick für die folgende Etappe empfiehlt sich ein Abstecher zu den 100 Meter entfernten Burgsteinruinen.

Dans cette zone peu peuplée, à l'ancienne frontière allemande-allemande, une faune et une flore uniques ont pu se développer durant les années de la division allemande, qui après l'ouverture de la frontière ont été classées en zone protégée « Ruban Vert ». Tiefenbrunn est situé non loin du tripoint de la Saxe, de la Bavière et de la Bohême. Sur le Kammweg, vous contournez le village en profitant de la vue sur la Bohême et la Bavière. Un ancien chemin creux vous mène près du « Weißer Stein ». Ici, une pause s'impose avant de monter vers le Platzerberg. Le sentier de grande randonnée européen E3 traverse cette zone depuis le tripoint et croise le Kammweg juste après Tiefenbrunn. Jusqu'au Platzerberg, le sol du chemin passe de l'asphalte à un chemin stabilisé puis, plus tard, à un chemin forestier envahi, montant en douceur vers le « sommet ». De là, vous marchez jusqu'au hameau d'Haselrain puis en direction de Bobenneukirchen, principalement en forêt d'épicéas, parfois interrompue par des prairies et des clairières. Lorsque la forêt s'ouvre, vous apercevez bientôt les premières maisons de Bobenneukirchen. En passant près de la baignade, vous arrivez au centre du village avec le barrage de Dröda comme point d'attraction. Le Kammweg longe directement le barrage jusqu'à Engelhardtsgrün. Jusqu'ici, vous passez devant le barrage accessoire de Bobenneukirchen et profitez, après une promenade au bord de la forêt, d'une vue fantastique sur l'ouest du Vogtland. Arrivé en plein centre d'Engelhardtsgrün, un espace de repos vous attend pour souffler un peu. Ensuite, la descente est douce vers le barrage accessoire Ramoldsreuth. L'ancien village du même nom, sacrifié lors de la construction du barrage Dröda, est aujourd'hui rappelé par un panneau non loin de la route fédérale B173. Der Kammweg arbeitet sich nun im Zick-Zack meist am Waldrand auf naturnahem Untergrund bergan. Die Panoramablicke genießend wandern Sie durch die Auenlandschaft am Weißigbach nahe der A72. Das Rauschen der Autobahn verliert sich, und mit jedem Meter wird die Aussicht grandioser, bis Sie am Anwesen von Schwarzenreuth angekommen sind. Auf und Ab gehen Sie über die „Vordere Platte“. Links und rechts des Weges bieten sich herrliche Aussichtsmöglichkeiten, bevor der Pfad hinab zum Wanderparkplatz an den Burgsteinruinen führt. Damit ist das Etappenziel erreicht. Tipp: Als kleiner Ausblick für die folgende Etappe empfiehlt sich ein Abstecher zu den 100 Meter entfernten Burgsteinruinen.</p>

After crossing the street, you can once again enjoy the open view before continuing into the forest near Tiefenbrunn. In the sparsely populated area along the former inner German border, a unique fauna and flora developed during the years of the German division, which, after the border opening, was designated as the protected area "Green Belt." Tiefenbrunn is located near the tri-border region of Saxony, Bavaria, and Bohemia. On the Kammweg, you walk around the village enjoying the view towards Bohemia and Bavaria. An old hollow way leads you near the White Stone. Here, there is an opportunity to rest before heading to Platzerberg. The European long-distance path E3 passes through this area coming from the tri-border region and crosses the Kammweg shortly after Tiefenbrunn. Up to Platzerberg, the path surface changes from asphalt to a firmer and later overgrown forest path leading gently uphill to the "summit." From there, you hike to the hamlet of Haselrain and then further towards Bobenneukirchen, mostly through spruce forest, partially interrupted by meadows and clearings. When the forest opens up, you soon see the first houses of Bobenneukirchen. Passing the swimming area, you reach the village center with the Dröda reservoir as an attraction. The Kammweg leads you directly along the reservoir to Engelhardtsgrün. Along the way, you pass the Bobenneukirchen foredam and experience a fantastic view of the western Vogtland after a hike along the forest edge. Reaching the village center of Engelhardtsgrün straight ahead, a rest area awaits you. Then it gently goes downhill to the Ramoldsreuth foredam. A sign near federal road B173 recalls the eponymous village that had to make way during the construction of the Dröda reservoir. The Kammweg now zigzags mostly along the forest edge on natural ground uphill. Enjoying the panoramic views, you hike through the floodplain landscape at the Weißenbach near the A72. The noise of the motorway fades away, and with every meter, the view becomes more magnificent until you reach the Schwarzenreuth property. You hike up and down over the "Vordere Platte." On both sides of the path, there are splendid views before the path descends to the hiking parking lot at the Burgstein ruins. That marks the stage destination. Tip: As a small preview for the next stage, a detour to the Burgstein ruins, 100 meters away, is recommended.</p>

Dans cette zone peu peuplée, à l'ancienne frontière allemande-allemande, une faune et une flore uniques ont pu se développer durant les années de la division allemande, qui après l'ouverture de la frontière ont été classées en zone protégée « Ruban Vert ». Tiefenbrunn est situé non loin du tripoint de la Saxe, de la Bavière et de la Bohême. Sur le Kammweg, vous contournez le village en profitant de la vue sur la Bohême et la Bavière. Un ancien chemin creux vous mène près du « Weißer Stein ». Ici, une pause s'impose avant de monter vers le Platzerberg. Le sentier de grande randonnée européen E3 traverse cette zone depuis le tripoint et croise le Kammweg juste après Tiefenbrunn. Jusqu'au Platzerberg, le sol du chemin passe de l'asphalte à un chemin stabilisé puis, plus tard, à un chemin forestier envahi, montant en douceur vers le « sommet ». De là, vous marchez jusqu'au hameau d'Haselrain puis en direction de Bobenneukirchen, principalement en forêt d'épicéas, parfois interrompue par des prairies et des clairières. Lorsque la forêt s'ouvre, vous apercevez bientôt les premières maisons de Bobenneukirchen. En passant près de la baignade, vous arrivez au centre du village avec le barrage de Dröda comme point d'attraction. Le Kammweg longe directement le barrage jusqu'à Engelhardtsgrün. Jusqu'ici, vous passez devant le barrage accessoire de Bobenneukirchen et profitez, après une promenade au bord de la forêt, d'une vue fantastique sur l'ouest du Vogtland. Arrivé en plein centre d'Engelhardtsgrün, un espace de repos vous attend pour souffler un peu. Ensuite, la descente est douce vers le barrage accessoire Ramoldsreuth. L'ancien village du même nom, sacrifié lors de la construction du barrage Dröda, est aujourd'hui rappelé par un panneau non loin de la route fédérale B173. Le Kammweg monte maintenant en zigzag principalement en lisière de forêt, sur un sol naturel. En profitant des panoramas, vous traversez le paysage alluvial de Weißigbach proche de l'A72. Le bruit de l'autoroute s'efface, et à chaque pas, la vue devient plus grandiose, jusqu'à ce que vous arriviez à la ferme de Schwarzenreuth. Vous montez et descendez sur la « Vordere Platte ». Des deux côtés du chemin s'offrent de magnifiques possibilités d'observation avant que le sentier ne descende vers le parking de randonnée aux ruines de Burgstein. C'est ici que se termine l'étape. Astuce : Pour un petit aperçu de l'étape suivante, une courte excursion aux ruines de Burgstein, à 100 mètres, est recommandée.</p>
