About: J8 - Wanderung zur Talsperre Pöhl, J8 - hike to the Pöhl dam, J8 - randonnée au barrage de Pöhl

The route starts at Jößnitz Castle, leads through the Lohbach Gorge to the Barth Mill. We cross the Elster and continue our hike towards the bridge. After crossing the railway tracks, entering the Trieb valley opens up impressive impressions of landscape and natural forces. We walk upstream along the Trieb River. When we reach the Loreley bridge, the mighty Loreley rock towers up, then it continues to the Pyramid Meadow. At the foot of the dam, there is a steep ascent, partly with steps, to the dam crest. Our hike passes the 435-meter-high Eisenberg. After that, we reach the boat dock and the climbing forest. The return route goes via the Lochbauer, an old Vogtland three-sided farm with a timber-framed house from the 17th century, and through the Elster valley—past the Devil's Pulpit—and the Nymph Valley, with a short break at the Pfaffen Mill, back to Jößnitz.

Die Route beginnt am Jößnitzer Schloß, führt durch die Lohbachschlucht in die Barthmühle. Wir überqueren die Elster und setzen unsere Wanderung in Richtung Brücke fort.  Nach der Überquerung der Bahngleise eröffnen sich mit dem Betreten des Triebtals imposante Impressionen von Landschaft und Naturgewalten. Wir laufen den Flusslauf der Trieb aufwärts. An der Loreleybrücke angekommen, türmt der sich mächtige Loreleyfelsen auf, es geht weiter zur Pyramidenwiese.  Am Fuß der Staumauer angekommen, erfolgt der steile Aufstieg, zum Teil mit Treppenstufen, zur Staumauerkrone. Unsere Wanderung führt am 435 Meter hohen Eisenberg vorbei. Danach erreichen wir die Schiffsanlegestelle und den Kletterwald. Der Rückweg verläuft über den Lochbauer, einen altvogtländischen Dreiseithof mit Umgebindewohnhaus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert und über das Elstertal -vorbei an der Teufelskanzel- und das Nymphental, mit einer kurzen Rast an der Pfaffenmühle, nach Jößnitz.

Le parcours commence au château de Jößnitz, traverse la gorge de Lohbach jusqu'au moulin Barth. Nous traversons l'Elster et poursuivons notre randonnée en direction du pont.  Après avoir traversé les voies ferrées, en entrant dans la vallée de Trieb s'ouvrent des impressions imposantes de paysages et de forces naturelles. Nous remontons le cours de la Trieb. Arrivés au pont de Loreley, le puissant rocher de Loreley s'élève, la suite conduit à la prairie des pyramides.  Au pied du barrage, une montée raide commence, en partie avec des marches, jusqu'à la crête du barrage. Notre randonnée passe près de l'Eisenberg haut de 435 mètres. Ensuite, nous atteignons la embarcardère et la forêt d'escalade. Le chemin de retour passe par le Lochbauer, une ferme traditionnelle du Vogtland avec maison à colombages du XVIIe siècle, puis par la vallée de l'Elster - passant par la chaire du diable - et la vallée des nymphes, avec une courte pause au moulin Pfaffen, jusqu'à Jößnitz.
