„Sankt-Peter-Brunnen bei Kottenheide“ Die Wanderung beginnt im Ortskern von Zwota und führt am „Harmonikamuseum Zwota“ vorbei durchs wild-romantische Glasbachtal hinauf nach Kottenheide. Ein wunderschöner Dorfplatz oder das „Haus am Ahorn“ laden hier zur Rast ein. Danach erreichen wir den „Sankt-Peter-Brunnen“, der die Quelle des Glasbaches darstellt. Weiter führt die Wanderung über den Schlosserberg und den Sammerberg mit weitem Ausblick zum Hohen Brand und ins Zwotatal.

In the parking lot behind the "Gasthof Zwota" has been the old parochial school with parsonage since 1840. Following the yellow trail, we head toward Schöneck, passing by the school and church. The school was built in 1888-89 and opened in 1890. Zwota without Zechenbach had 416 schoolchildren and 4 teachers at that time. In the summer of 1993, the school was closed due to too few students. Today, the school houses the "Stadtorchester Klingenthal", the "Akkordeonorchester Klingenthal", the band "Hämoriders", the "1st Vogtland Shooting Club Zwota", the "Senior Treff Zwota", and the "Harmonica Museum Zwota" plus a dialect and experience room. Regarding the church: Zwota received its own parish on the 9th Sunday after Trinity, August 2, 1840, and thus was separated from the Schöneck parish. One condition from Schöneck during the new church construction was that the altar space should be built not as usual to the east but toward Schöneck. The laying of the church's foundation stone was on March 9, 1885, and it was already in use for the early Christmas mass of 1885. Before that, Zwota had a hammer chapel. Zwota with Zechenbach had 1100 inhabitants at that time. We continue on Schönecker Straße (yellow), turn into the Glasbach valley, and pass the Glasbachteich. After about 200 m, we continue the route to the left on the "Alten Kottenheider Weg" (yellow marking). Near Kottenheide by a rock at the Glasbach, a glassworks is said to have existed during the Middle Ages. According to tradition, the glassmakers in Vogtland came from Bohemia or were Venetians. 600 m later, we reach the upper Hammerteich and about 800 m further are on the Glasbachweg (blue, red, and yellow markings). We walk to the center of Kottenheide, passing Glasbachweg No. 3, where previously a path led left across the meadow and through the forest to Schlosserberg (721 m). In the center of the village stands a tower in which the old school bell is still visible today. Kottenheide had the smallest school in Saxony, which was closed in the course of the district reform in 1952. We follow the signposting there and continue to the Saint Peter's spring. The spring is the source of the Glasbach. (Further explanations can be found on an information panel.) We then continue on the Häusersteig, cross the state road Schöneck-Zwota, reach the Steinbruchflügel, and arrive at the Mühlweg at the shelter. On the right side of Steinbruchflügel is an old quarry. The stones from there were used for building houses on Schlosserberg, Kottenheide, and for path construction. We continue along Mühlweg toward Zwota-Zechenbach to Schlosserberg. Mühlweg formerly led from Kottenheide to the mill in Zechenbach at the Vogtlandbahn stop. Timber from the forests around Kottenheide was transported there by horse-drawn carts for the cutting mill. At Schlosserberg, we encounter again the Höhensteig Klingenthal (green) and take the Pechhüttenweg into the Zechenbach valley. The site of the pitch hut and a related charcoal burning site was located close to a spring that still exists today. In summer months, when wells ran dry, families from Schlosserberg fetched their drinking and utility water there. The path continues to Sammerberg. An old local resident (Rosa Sammer) went year-round with a carrying basket to Unterzwota to make necessary purchases for her family. We continue our hike over Reuth and Kleiderberg on the Höhensteig Klingenthal (green) back to Hammerplatz.

À cette époque, Zwota sans Zechenbach comptait 416 écoliers et 4 enseignants. En été 1993, l'école a été fermée faute d'un nombre suffisant d'élèves. Aujourd'hui, l'école abrite l'« Orchestre de la ville de Klingenthal », l'« Orchestre d'accordéon de Klingenthal », la fanfare « Hämoriders », le « 1er club de tir Vogtlandais de Zwota », le « Club des seniors de Zwota » et le « Musée de l'harmonica de Zwota » + espace dialectal et d'expérience. Concernant l'église : Zwota a obtenu sa propre paroisse le 9e dimanche après la Trinité, le 2 août 1840, et a ainsi été séparée de la paroisse de Schöneck. Une condition des habitants de Schöneck lors de la reconstruction de l'église était que le chœur ne soit pas orienté comme d'habitude vers l'est, mais vers Schöneck. La pose de la première pierre de l'église a eu lieu le 9 mars 1885 et elle était déjà utilisée lors de la messe de minuit de Noël 1885. Avant cela, Zwota avait une chapelle Hammer. À cette époque, Zwota avec Zechenbach comptait 1100 habitants. Nous continuons sur la rue de Schöneck (balise jaune), bifurquons dans la vallée du Glasbach et passons à côté de l'étang Glasbach. Après environ 200 m, nous poursuivons notre parcours à gauche sur le « Vieux chemin de Kottenheide » (balise jaune). Au bord du Glasbach, près de Kottenheide, près d'un rocher, il y avait au Moyen Âge un four à verre. Selon la tradition, les verriers du Vogtland venaient de Bohême ou étaient vénitiens. 600 m plus loin, nous atteignons l'étang supérieur Hammerteich et nous nous trouvons environ 800 m plus loin sur le chemin Glasbachweg (balises bleue, rouge et jaune). Nous marchons jusqu'au centre de Kottenheide, passons devant la maison n° 3 du Glasbachweg, où autrefois un sentier (Häusersteig) menait à gauche à travers la prairie puis la forêt jusqu'au Schlosserberg (721 m). Au centre du village se dresse une tour où l'on peut encore voir la vieille cloche de l'école. À Kottenheide se trouvait la plus petite école de Saxe, qui a été fermée lors de la réforme territoriale de 1952. Nous suivons là les indications et poursuivons notre chemin jusqu'à la fontaine Saint-Pierre. Cette fontaine est la source du Glasbach. (Des explications complémentaires sont disponibles sur un panneau d'information). Nous continuons ensuite sur le Häusersteig, traversons la route d'État Schöneck-Zwota, arrivons à l'aile de la carrière et atteignons le chemin Mühlweg près de l'abri. À droite de l'aile de la carrière se trouve une vieille carrière. Des pierres de là ont été utilisées pour la construction de maisons sur le Schlosserberg, à Kottenheide, et pour la construction de chemins. Nous continuons sur le Mühlweg en direction de Zwota-Zechenbach jusqu'au Schlosserberg. Le Mühlweg menait autrefois de Kottenheide jusqu'au moulin de Zechenbach, près de l'arrêt de la Vogtlandbahn. Par ce chemin, le bois des forêts autour de Kottenheide était amené à la scierie en attelage de chevaux. Au Schlosserberg, nous rencontrons à nouveau le Höhensteig de Klingenthal (vert) et suivons le Pechhüttenweg dans la vallée de Zechenbach. L'emplacement de la Pechhütte et d'une charbonnière associée se trouvait à proximité immédiate d'une source encore existante aujourd'hui. En été, lorsque les fontaines étaient à sec, les familles de Schlosserberg y puisaient leur eau potable et d'usage. Le chemin mène ensuite au Sammerberg. Une ancienne habitante (Rosa Sammer) allait toute l'année avec son panier à Unterzwota pour faire les courses nécessaires pour sa famille. Nous poursuivons notre randonnée via la Reuth et le Kleiderberg sur le Höhensteig de Klingenthal (vert) jusqu'à Hammerplatz.

Im Zentrum des Ortes steht ein Turm, in dem noch heute die alte Schulglocke zu sehen ist. In Kottenheide befand sich nämlich die kleinste Schule Sachsens, die im Zuge der Kreisreform 1952 geschlossen wurde. Wir richten uns dort nach der Ausschilderung und setzen unseren Weg zum Sankt Peters-Brunnen fort. Der Brunnen ist die Quelle des Glasbaches. (Nähere Erläuterungen sind einer Informationstafel zu entnehmen). Wir gehen dann auf dem Häusersteig weiter, überqueren die Staatsstraße Schöneck-Zwota und kommen zum Steinbruchflügel und erreichen den Mühlweg an der Schutzhütte. Am Steinbruchflügel rechter Hand befindet sich ein alter Steinbruch. Aus diesen wurden die Steine zum Häuserbau auf dem Schlosserberg, Kottenheide und zum Wegebau verwendet. Wir laufen auf dem Mühlweg weiter in Richtung Zwota-Zechenbach zum Schlosserberg. Der Mühlweg führte früher von Kottenheide bis zur Mühle in Zechenbach, beim Haltepunkt der Vogtlandbahn. Auf diesem wurde das Holz aus den Wäldern um Kottenheide auf Pferdegespannen zur Schneidmühle gebracht. Auf dem Schlosserberg stoßen wir wieder auf den Höhensteig Klingenthal (grün) und gehen auf dem Pechhüttenweg ins Zechenbachtal. Der Standort der Pechhütte und einer dazugehörenden Köhlerei befand sich in unmittelbarer Nähe einer heute noch existierenden Quelle. In den Sommermonaten, wenn die Brunnen versiegt waren, holten die Schlosserberger Familien ihr Trink-und Gebrauchtwasser dort. Weiter führt der Weg auf den Sammerberg. Eine alte Anwohnerin (Rosa Sammer) ging zu jeder Jahreszeit mit dem Tragkorb nach Unterzwota, um dort für ihre Familie die notwendigen Einkäufe zu tätigen. Wir setzen unsere Wanderung über die Reuth und den Kleiderberg auf dem Höhensteig Klingenthal (grün) bis zum Hammerplatz fort.

Zwota without Zechenbach had 416 schoolchildren and 4 teachers at that time. In the summer of 1993, the school was closed due to too few students. Today, the school houses the "Stadtorchester Klingenthal", the "Akkordeonorchester Klingenthal", the band "Hämoriders", the "1st Vogtland Shooting Club Zwota", the "Senior Treff Zwota", and the "Harmonica Museum Zwota" plus a dialect and experience room.</p> <p>Regarding the church: Zwota received its own parish on the 9th Sunday after Trinity, August 2, 1840, and thus was separated from the Schöneck parish. One condition from Schöneck during the new church construction was that the altar space should be built not as usual to the east but toward Schöneck. The laying of the church's foundation stone was on March 9, 1885, and it was already in use for the early Christmas mass of 1885. Before that, Zwota had a hammer chapel. Zwota with Zechenbach had 1100 inhabitants at that time.</p> <p>We continue on Schönecker Straße (yellow), turn into the Glasbach valley, and pass the Glasbachteich. After about 200 m, we continue the route to the left on the "Alten Kottenheider Weg" (yellow marking).</p> <p>Near Kottenheide by a rock at the Glasbach, a glassworks is said to have existed during the Middle Ages. According to tradition, the glassmakers in Vogtland came from Bohemia or were Venetians.</p> <p>600 m later, we reach the upper Hammerteich and about 800 m further are on the Glasbachweg (blue, red, and yellow markings). We walk to the center of Kottenheide, passing Glasbachweg No. 3, where previously a path led left across the meadow and through the forest to Schlosserberg (721 m).</p> <p>In the center of the village stands a tower in which the old school bell is still visible today. Kottenheide had the smallest school in Saxony, which was closed in the course of the district reform in 1952.</p> <p>We follow the signposting there and continue to the Saint Peter's spring. The spring is the source of the Glasbach. (Further explanations can be found on an information panel.)</p> <p>We then continue on the Häusersteig, cross the state road Schöneck-Zwota, reach the Steinbruchflügel, and arrive at the Mühlweg at the shelter.</p> <p>On the right side of Steinbruchflügel is an old quarry. The stones from there were used for building houses on Schlosserberg, Kottenheide, and for path construction.</p> <p>We continue along Mühlweg toward Zwota-Zechenbach to Schlosserberg. Mühlweg formerly led from Kottenheide to the mill in Zechenbach at the Vogtlandbahn stop. Timber from the forests around Kottenheide was transported there by horse-drawn carts for the cutting mill.</p> <p>At Schlosserberg, we encounter again the Höhensteig Klingenthal (green) and take the Pechhüttenweg into the Zechenbach valley. The site of the pitch hut and a related charcoal burning site was located close to a spring that still exists today. In summer months, when wells ran dry, families from Schlosserberg fetched their drinking and utility water there. The path continues to Sammerberg. An old local resident (Rosa Sammer) went year-round with a carrying basket to Unterzwota to make necessary purchases for her family.</p> <p>We continue our hike over Reuth and Kleiderberg on the Höhensteig Klingenthal (green) back to Hammerplatz.</p>

Aujourd'hui, l'école abrite l'« Orchestre de la ville de Klingenthal », l'« Orchestre d'accordéon de Klingenthal », la fanfare « Hämoriders », le « 1er club de tir Vogtlandais de Zwota », le « Club des seniors de Zwota » et le « Musée de l'harmonica de Zwota » + espace dialectal et d'expérience.</p> <p>  Concernant l'église : Zwota a obtenu sa propre paroisse le 9e dimanche après la Trinité, le 2 août 1840, et a ainsi été séparée de la paroisse de Schöneck. Une condition des habitants de Schöneck lors de la reconstruction de l'église était que le chœur ne soit pas orienté comme d'habitude vers l'est, mais vers Schöneck. La pose de la première pierre de l'église a eu lieu le 9 mars 1885 et elle était déjà utilisée lors de la messe de minuit de Noël 1885. Avant cela, Zwota avait une chapelle Hammer. À cette époque, Zwota avec Zechenbach comptait 1100 habitants.</p> <p>  Nous continuons sur la rue de Schöneck (balise jaune), bifurquons dans la vallée du Glasbach et passons à côté de l'étang Glasbach. Après environ 200 m, nous poursuivons notre parcours à gauche sur le « Vieux chemin de Kottenheide » (balise jaune).</p> <p>  Au bord du Glasbach, près de Kottenheide, près d'un rocher, il y avait au Moyen Âge un four à verre. Selon la tradition, les verriers du Vogtland venaient de Bohême ou étaient vénitiens.</p> <p>  600 m plus loin, nous atteignons l'étang supérieur Hammerteich et nous nous trouvons environ 800 m plus loin sur le chemin Glasbachweg (balises bleue, rouge et jaune). Nous marchons jusqu'au centre de Kottenheide, passons devant la maison n° 3 du Glasbachweg, où autrefois un sentier (Häusersteig) menait à gauche à travers la prairie puis la forêt jusqu'au Schlosserberg (721 m).</p> <p>  Au centre du village se dresse une tour où l'on peut encore voir la vieille cloche de l'école. À Kottenheide se trouvait la plus petite école de Saxe, qui a été fermée lors de la réforme territoriale de 1952.</p> <p>  Nous suivons là les indications et poursuivons notre chemin jusqu'à la fontaine Saint-Pierre. Cette fontaine est la source du Glasbach. (Des explications complémentaires sont disponibles sur un panneau d'information).</p> <p>  Nous continuons ensuite sur le Häusersteig, traversons la route d'État Schöneck-Zwota, arrivons à l'aile de la carrière et atteignons le chemin Mühlweg près de l'abri.</p> <p>  À droite de l'aile de la carrière se trouve une vieille carrière. Des pierres de là ont été utilisées pour la construction de maisons sur le Schlosserberg, à Kottenheide, et pour la construction de chemins.</p> <p>  Nous continuons sur le Mühlweg en direction de Zwota-Zechenbach jusqu'au Schlosserberg. Le Mühlweg menait autrefois de Kottenheide jusqu'au moulin de Zechenbach, près de l'arrêt de la Vogtlandbahn. Par ce chemin, le bois des forêts autour de Kottenheide était amené à la scierie en attelage de chevaux.</p> <p>  Au Schlosserberg, nous rencontrons à nouveau le Höhensteig de Klingenthal (vert) et suivons le Pechhüttenweg dans la vallée de Zechenbach. L'emplacement de la Pechhütte et d'une charbonnière associée se trouvait à proximité immédiate d'une source encore existante aujourd'hui. En été, lorsque les fontaines étaient à sec, les familles de Schlosserberg y puisaient leur eau potable et d'usage. Le chemin mène ensuite au Sammerberg. Une ancienne habitante (Rosa Sammer) allait toute l'année avec son panier à Unterzwota pour faire les courses nécessaires pour sa famille.</p> <p>  Nous poursuivons notre randonnée via la Reuth et le Kleiderberg sur le Höhensteig de Klingenthal (vert) jusqu'à Hammerplatz.</p>
