The German Space Exhibition, with its unique nationwide exposition of over 1000 models and originals on this subject, is the centerpiece of the officially recognized spa resort and is also the starting point of the approximately one-hour village walk. Experience lovingly preserved witnesses of the past, combined with traditional craftsmanship, embedded in a charming hilly landscape of Vogtland. schema:value @de Von der Raumfahrtausstellung führt der Rundgang  vorbei am alten Bahnhof Rautenkranz der ehemaligen Bahnstecke Chemnitz-Aue-Adorf. An bestimmten Fahrtagen kann man hier mit dem Wernesgrüner Schienenexpress fahren. Wildromantisch geht’s weiter zum Bahnhofsteich,  der übersät ist mit der kleinen Teichrose, ein Relikt der letzten Eiszeit. An einem alten Fabrikgelände vorbei, rechts abbiegend, schlängelt sich der Weg bergauf im Wald entlang, bis er rechts in die Badstraße abbiegt. Dem Wegweiser Damwildgehege folgend, trifft man bald auf ein paar prächtige Exemplare, die zur Familie der Hirsche gehören. Weiter geradeaus geht’s am ehemaligen Freibad (heute Feuerlöschteich) vorbei. Am Ende der Straße biegt man links  auf die Alwin-Gerisch-Straße ab und läuft am Geburtshaus von Alwin Gerisch, dem Mitbegründer der Sozial-Demokratischen Partei Deutschlands vorbei. Dieser Straße bis zum Ende folgend, verläuft der Dorfspaziergang weiter geradeaus ein kleines Stück im Wald entlang bis man rechts abbiegend auf der Carlsfelder Straße sich wieder Richtung Dorfmitte zuwendet. Weiter geht’s zur Schaustickerei Funke, wo man auf zwei traditionellen Großstickmaschinen wahre Meisterwerke der  Stickereikunst bewundern kann. Gleich gegenüber befindet sich der Forstpark mit seinen alten Griebenherden die früher zur Gewinnung von Pech genutzt wurden. Am Feuerwehrgerätehaus rechts abbiegend, gelangt man „Am Schlosserberg 1“ zum Elternhaus von Dr. Sigmund Jähn. Oberhalb der zwei Neubaublöcke biegt man links ab und läuft sich weiter links haltend auf die einzige im neoklassizistischen Baustil erhalten gebliebene Kirche mit original Eisenglocken aus der Morgenröther Gießerei zu. Den Kirchberg abwärts in Richtung Kreisverkehr gehend, läuft man rechts in Richtung Raumfahrtausstellung vorbei am „Spacecafe“  der Bäckerei Schürer zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Tour.

schema:value @fr Depuis l'exposition spatiale, le parcours passe devant l'ancienne gare de Rautenkranz de l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer Chemnitz-Aue-Adorf. Certains jours de circulation, vous pouvez y prendre le Wernesgrüner Schienenexpress. Le chemin continue de manière sauvage et romantique jusqu'à l'étang de la gare, couvert de petites nénuphars, vestige de la dernière période glaciaire. En passant devant un ancien site industriel, en tournant à droite, le chemin serpente en montée à travers la forêt, jusqu'à ce qu'il tourne à droite dans la Badstraße. En suivant le panneau « enclos de daims », on rencontre bientôt quelques magnifiques spécimens appartenant à la famille des cerfs. Plus loin, on passe devant l'ancienne piscine en plein air (aujourd'hui un étang d'incendie). Au bout de la rue, tournez à gauche dans la Alwin-Gerisch-Straße et passez devant la maison natale d'Alwin Gerisch, cofondateur du Parti social-démocrate d'Allemagne. En suivant cette rue jusqu'à la fin, la promenade traverse un petit tronçon de forêt avant de tourner à droite sur la Carlsfelder Straße, revenant vers le centre du village. Continuez ensuite jusqu'à la Schaustickerei Funke, où vous pouvez admirer de véritables chefs-d'œuvre de l'art de la broderie sur deux grandes machines à broder traditionnelles. Juste en face se trouve le Forstpark avec ses anciens résidus de poix, autrefois utilisés pour la production de goudron. En tournant à droite près de la caserne des pompiers, vous arrivez au « Am Schlosserberg 1 », la maison parentale du Dr Sigmund Jähn. Au-dessus des deux blocs résidentiels construits récemment, tournez à gauche et continuez en gardant la gauche vers la seule église conservée dans le style néoclassique, avec ses cloches en fer d'origine de la fonderie de Morgenröthe. En descendant Kirchberg en direction du rond-point, tournez à droite vers l'exposition spatiale, en passant par le « Spacecafe » de la boulangerie Schürer, pour revenir au point de départ de notre parcours.

On certain running days, you can ride here with the Wernesgrüner Rail Express. Continuing in a wild romantic way, it goes to the station pond, which is covered with the small pond rose, a relic of the last Ice Age. Passing an old factory site, turning right, the path winds uphill along the forest until it turns right into Badstraße. Following the signpost to the fallow deer enclosure, you soon meet some magnificent specimens belonging to the deer family. Going straight ahead, you pass the former outdoor swimming pool (now a fire fighting pond). At the end of the street, turn left onto Alwin-Gerisch-Straße and walk past the birthplace of Alwin Gerisch, co-founder of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Following this street to the end, the village walk continues straight ahead a little way along the forest until turning right onto Carlsfelder Straße, leading back towards the village center. Continuing to the Funke demonstration embroidery, where you can admire true masterpieces of embroidery art on two traditional large embroidery machines. Directly opposite is the forest park with its old pitch herds formerly used to produce pitch. Turning right at the fire station equipment house, you reach "Am Schlosserberg 1," the parental home of Dr. Sigmund Jähn. Above the two newly built blocks, turn left and continue holding left to the only church preserved in the neoclassical architectural style with original iron bells from the Morgenröth foundry. Going down Kirchberg towards the roundabout, turn right towards the Space Exhibition past the "Spacecafe" of the Schürer bakery to the starting point of our route.
thuecat:directions @de Von der Raumfahrtausstellung führt der Rundgang  vorbei am alten Bahnhof Rautenkranz der ehemaligen Bahnstecke Chemnitz-Aue-Adorf. An bestimmten Fahrtagen kann man hier mit dem Wernesgrüner Schienenexpress fahren. Wildromantisch geht’s weiter zum Bahnhofsteich,  der übersät ist mit der kleinen Teichrose, ein Relikt der letzten Eiszeit. An einem alten Fabrikgelände vorbei, rechts abbiegend, schlängelt sich der Weg bergauf im Wald entlang, bis er rechts in die Badstraße abbiegt. Dem Wegweiser Damwildgehege folgend, trifft man bald auf ein paar prächtige Exemplare, die zur Familie der Hirsche gehören. Weiter geradeaus geht’s am ehemaligen Freibad (heute Feuerlöschteich) vorbei. Am Ende der Straße biegt man links  auf die Alwin-Gerisch-Straße ab und läuft am Geburtshaus von Alwin Gerisch, dem Mitbegründer der Sozial-Demokratischen Partei Deutschlands vorbei. Dieser Straße bis zum Ende folgend, verläuft der Dorfspaziergang weiter geradeaus ein kleines Stück im Wald entlang bis man rechts abbiegend auf der Carlsfelder Straße sich wieder Richtung Dorfmitte zuwendet. Weiter geht’s zur Schaustickerei Funke, wo man auf zwei traditionellen Großstickmaschinen wahre Meisterwerke der  Stickereikunst bewundern kann. Gleich gegenüber befindet sich der Forstpark mit seinen alten Griebenherden die früher zur Gewinnung von Pech genutzt wurden. Am Feuerwehrgerätehaus rechts abbiegend, gelangt man „Am Schlosserberg 1“ zum Elternhaus von Dr. Sigmund Jähn. Oberhalb der zwei Neubaublöcke biegt man links ab und läuft sich weiter links haltend auf die einzige im neoklassizistischen Baustil erhalten gebliebene Kirche mit original Eisenglocken aus der Morgenröther Gießerei zu. Den Kirchberg abwärts in Richtung Kreisverkehr gehend, läuft man rechts in Richtung Raumfahrtausstellung vorbei am „Spacecafe“  der Bäckerei Schürer zum Ausgangspunkt unserer Tour.

On certain running days, you can ride here with the Wernesgrüner Rail Express. Continuing in a wild romantic way, it goes to the station pond, which is covered with the small pond rose, a relic of the last Ice Age. Passing an old factory site, turning right, the path winds uphill along the forest until it turns right into Badstraße. Following the signpost to the fallow deer enclosure, you soon meet some magnificent specimens belonging to the deer family. Going straight ahead, you pass the former outdoor swimming pool (now a fire fighting pond). At the end of the street, turn left onto Alwin-Gerisch-Straße and walk past the birthplace of Alwin Gerisch, co-founder of the Social Democratic Party of Germany. Following this street to the end, the village walk continues straight ahead a little way along the forest until turning right onto Carlsfelder Straße, leading back towards the village center. Continuing to the Funke demonstration embroidery, where you can admire true masterpieces of embroidery art on two traditional large embroidery machines. Directly opposite is the forest park with its old pitch herds formerly used to produce pitch. thuecat:directions @fr Depuis l'exposition spatiale, le parcours passe devant l'ancienne gare de Rautenkranz de l'ancienne ligne de chemin de fer Chemnitz-Aue-Adorf. Certains jours de circulation, vous pouvez y prendre le Wernesgrüner Schienenexpress. Le chemin continue de manière sauvage et romantique jusqu'à l'étang de la gare, couvert de petites nénuphars, vestige de la dernière période glaciaire. En passant devant un ancien site industriel, en tournant à droite, le chemin serpente en montée à travers la forêt, jusqu'à ce qu'il tourne à droite dans la Badstraße. En suivant le panneau « enclos de daims », on rencontre bientôt quelques magnifiques spécimens appartenant à la famille des cerfs. Plus loin, on passe devant l'ancienne piscine en plein air (aujourd'hui un étang d'incendie). Au bout de la rue, tournez à gauche dans la Alwin-Gerisch-Straße et passez devant la maison natale d'Alwin Gerisch, cofondateur du Parti social-démocrate d'Allemagne. En suivant cette rue jusqu'à la fin, la promenade traverse un petit tronçon de forêt avant de tourner à droite sur la Carlsfelder Straße, revenant vers le centre du village. Continuez ensuite jusqu'à la Schaustickerei Funke, où vous pouvez admirer de véritables chefs-d'œuvre de l'art de la broderie sur deux grandes machines à broder traditionnelles. Juste en face se trouve le Forstpark avec ses anciens résidus de poix, autrefois utilisés pour la production de goudron. En tournant à droite près de la caserne des pompiers, vous arrivez au « Am Schlosserberg 1 », la maison parentale du Dr Sigmund Jähn. Au-dessus des deux blocs résidentiels construits récemment, tournez à gauche et continuez en gardant la gauche vers la seule église conservée dans le style néoclassique, avec ses cloches en fer d'origine de la fonderie de Morgenröthe. En descendant Kirchberg en direction du rond-point, tournez à droite vers l'exposition spatiale, en passant par le « Spacecafe » de la boulangerie Schürer, pour revenir au point de départ de notre parcours.
