Aus Themar Richtung Hildburghausen verläuft nun der Werra-Burgen-Steig über den Hutsberg und den Iltenberg zum Eingefallenen Berg. Durch Bergstürze (zuletzt am 3. April 1595) entstand eine steile, mit mächtigen Spalten durchsetzte Wellenkalk-Felswand auf einem Rötsockel, die eine herrliche Aussicht in den nahen Thüringer Wald gewährt. Am Fuß des Eingefallenen Berges ist im Laufe der Zeit eine einmalige, märchenhaft und mystisch wirkende Kulisse entstanden. Über den nahen markierten Abweg erreicht der Wanderer das Kloster Veßra. Hier lohnt ein Besuch des Hennebergischen Museums für regionale Geschichte und Volkskunde auf dem Gelände des mittelalterlichen Prämonstratenser-Chorstiftes. Die Ruine der ehemalige Klosterkirche St. Marien bildet mit ihrem zweitürmigen Westbau die bauliche Dominante der Klostergebäude. Über den Werratal-Radweg kann man wieder das nördlich liegende Städtchen Themar erreichen.

Depuis Themar en direction de Hildburghausen, le Werra-Burgen-Steig passe par le Hutsberg et l'Iltenberg jusqu'à la montagne écroulée. À cause d'éboulements (le dernier le 3 avril 1595), s'est formée une paroi rocheuse en calcaire ondulé avec de grandes fissures, sur un socle de Röts, offrant une vue superbe sur la proche forêt de Thuringe. Au pied de la montagne écroulée s'est créée au fil du temps une scène unique, féerique et mystérieuse. Par un sentier balisé proche, le randonneur atteint le monastère Veßra. Une visite du musée de Henneberg sur l'histoire régionale et le folklore vaut le détour sur le site de l'ancienne abbaye prémontrée médiévale. Les ruines de l'ancienne église abbatiale Sainte-Marie, avec sa façade ouest à deux tours, dominent architecturale le complexe du monastère. Par la piste cyclable Werratal, on peut revenir à la petite ville de Themar, située au nord.

From Themar in the direction of Hildburghausen, the Werra Burgen Steig now runs over the Hutsberg and Iltenberg to the Collapsed Mountain. Due to landslides (most recently on April 3, 1595), a steep rock face made of wave limestone with massive crevices on a red bed was formed, offering a magnificent view of the nearby Thuringian Forest. At the foot of the Collapsed Mountain, a unique, fairy-tale-like and mystical setting has developed over time. Via the nearby marked side path, the hiker reaches Kloster Veßra. Here a visit to the Henneberg Museum for regional history and folklore located on the grounds of the medieval Premonstratensian choir monastery is worthwhile. The ruin of the former monastery church St. Marien with its twin-towered west wing forms the architectural dominant of the monastery buildings. Via the Werra Valley cycle path you can return to the northern town of Themar.
