Der Weg um das Flugplatzgelände ist die leichteste der sechs Touren. Man kann dabei ganzjährig Rot- und Damwild beobachten, jegliche Fütterung des Wildes sollte dabei unterlassen werden, da die Tiere naturnah gehalten werden. Wenn die Motocrossstrecke geöffnet ist und Training stattfindet sind teils spektakuläre Aktionen der Fahrer zu bestaunen. Vom Frühjahr bis zum Herbst sind besonders an den Wochenenden die Segelflieger bei ihrem Sport zu erleben, für Interessierte sind hier auch bei den Motorfliegern Gästeflüge möglich. Kontaktdaten befinden sich an den Flugzeughallen bzw. den Gebäuden. Auf der Strecke sind schöne Aussichten in Richtung Sundremda, Breitenheerda, Rudolstadt und Schwarzenshof möglich.

Le chemin autour de l'aérodrome est le plus facile des six parcours. On peut y observer des cerfs rouges et des daims toute l'année; le nourrissage des animaux est à éviter pour préserver leur vie au plus proche de la nature. Lorsque la piste de motocross est ouverte et qu'un entraînement a lieu, on peut admirer parfois des figures spectaculaires des pilotes. Du printemps à l'automne, surtout les week-ends, on peut voir les planeurs en action, et pour les intéressés, des vols en avion motorisé sont possibles. Les coordonnées sont disponibles aux hangars d'avions ou sur les bâtiments. De beaux panoramas en direction de Sundremda, Breitenheerda, Rudolstadt et Schwarzenshof sont possibles sur le parcours.

The path around the airfield is the easiest of the six routes. You can observe red and fallow deer all year round; any feeding of the wildlife should be avoided as the animals are kept close to nature. When the motocross track is open and training is taking place, some spectacular actions by the drivers can be seen. From spring to autumn, especially on weekends, you can experience glider pilots in action; for interested parties, guest flights with motor planes are also possible here. Contact details can be found at the hangars or buildings. The route offers beautiful views towards Sundremda, Breitenheerda, Rudolstadt and Schwarzenshof.
