Geheimnisvolle Waldgeister locken auf dem barrierefreien Silberbornwanderweg. Doch der Pfad reizt nicht nur mit zauberhaften Ausblicken, sondern bietet an neun Erlebnisstationen auch viel Naturwissen. Schon am Wanderparkplatz "Mallinde", dem Start- und Endpunkt des Erlebnispfades, lernen Besucher Alruna kennen, die Seherin des Waldes. An neun spannenden Stationen erklärt sie, was es über Tiere, Pflanzen und Ökosystem des Nationalparks Hainich zu wissen gibt. Der Silberbornweg im Nationalpark Hainich ist etwas für Abenteurer. Nur mit Geschick, Köpfchen und Mut könnt ihr die kniffeligen Aufgaben an den neun Erlebnisstationen lösen, an denen euch Alruna die Geheimnisse ihres Waldes anvertraut. Etwa in der Mitte des drei Kilometer langen Rundwanderweges klärt sich auch auf, woher er seinen Namen hat: Dort sprudelt die Quelle Silberborn, und nur wenige Meter entfernt ragt die einzigartige Silberbornlinde in den Himmel.
