Dieser Weg führt an der Mariengrotte in Thaiden vorbei. Diese Art von Mariengrotten haben in der überwiegend katholisch geprägten Rhön eine lange Tradition. Viele davon wurden der Grotte im Wallfahrtsort Lourdes nachempfunden.  An den Wiesen und Feldern im Rothenbachtal vorbei geht es bergauf, bevor es über den Ulstertalradweg zurück zum Ausgangsort geht.

Ce chemin passe devant la grotte de Marie à Thaiden. Ce type de grottes de Marie a une longue tradition dans la Rhön, qui est majoritairement catholique. Beaucoup ont été inspirées par la grotte du lieu de pèlerinage de Lourdes.  Le chemin passe par les prairies et champs de la vallée de Rothenbachtal avant de monter, puis revient au point de départ par la piste cyclable Ulstertalradweg.

This path passes the Mariengrotto in Thaiden. This type of Mariengrotto has a long tradition in the predominantly Catholic Rhön. Many are modeled after the grotto in the pilgrimage site Lourdes. Past the meadows and fields of the Rothenbachtal, it goes uphill before returning to the starting point via the Ulstertal bike path.

Im Hilderser Ortsteil Batten biegt man rechts ab in Richtung Ehrenberg-Thaiden. In Thaiden, Höhe Hauptstr. 13, biegt man rechts ab auf den Parkplatz am Dorfgemeinschaftshaus.</p> <p>Die A66 verlässt man am Kreuz 53 Fulda-Süd und fährt auf die B27 in Richtung Bad Brückenau. Nur eine kurze Strecke später biegt man in Döllbach links ab auf die B279 in Richtung Gersfeld. In Gersfeld biegt man links in Richtung Ehrenberg-Wüstensachsen ab. Von Wüstensachsen aus folgt man der B 278 bis nach Thaiden. In Thaiden, Höhe Hauptstr. 13, biegt man rechts ab auf den Parkplatz am Dorfgemeinschaftshaus. </p> <p>Sollte man die A71 zur Anreise nutzen, verlässt man diese über die Ausfahrt 24 Mellrichstadt. Hier fährt man auf die B285 in Richtung Ostheim bis nach Fladungen. Kurz vor dem Ortsende von Fladungen biegt man links in Richtung Hochrhönstraße/Schwarzes Moor ab. Auf Höhe des Schwarzen Moores folgt man der Straße nach Ehrenberg-Seiferts. In Seiferts biegt man rechts ab und erreicht Thaiden. In Thaiden, Höhe Hauptstr. 13, biegt man rechts ab auf den Parkplatz am Dorfgemeinschaftshaus.</p>
