Ausgehend vom Wanderparkplatz am Kreuzberg führt der Wanderweg auf direktem Wege zum Kreuzberg und den dortigen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Zu Beginn erreicht man das Bruder-Franz-Haus. In der dortigen Tourist Information kann man sich über den Berg, dortige Angebote und das touristische Angebot des Mittelgebirges informieren. Auch gibt es hier Rückzugsorte zur Besinnung und eine Wechselausstellung.  Nur wenige Meter später ist das Kloster Kreuzberg ereicht. Besonders wegen diesem trägt der Ort auch den Namen: Heiliger Berg der Franken. Das Kloster mit der dortigen Kirche und Brauerei existieren schon mehrere Hundert Jahre und ist bis heute ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel in der Rhön. Das nächste Ziel der Wanderung führt zu bekannten Kreuzigungsgruppe unweit des Gipfels. Nicht nur für Fotografen öffnet sich hier ein Panorama. Wenn man es nicht auf Fotos festhält, dann aber mit sicherheit in der Erinnerung an den Besuch des Kreubergs.  Abschließend gelangt man über eine offene Wiesenfläche mit tollen Ausblicken zurück zum Ausgangspunkt, dem Wanderparkplatz Kreuzberg.

Partant du parking de randonnée au Kreuzberg, le sentier mène directement au Kreuzberg et à ses curiosités. Au début, on atteint la maison Bruder-Franz. L’office de tourisme sur place permet d’obtenir des informations sur la montagne, ses offres locales et l’offre touristique du massif moyen. On y trouve également des lieux de retraite pour la méditation ainsi qu'une exposition temporaire.  Quelques mètres plus loin, on atteint le monastère de Kreuzberg. C’est particulièrement à cause de ce lieu que l’endroit porte aussi le nom : Mont Saint des Francs. Le monastère avec son église et sa brasserie existe depuis plusieurs centaines d'années et est encore aujourd’hui une destination prisée en Rhön. Le prochain objectif de la randonnée est le célèbre groupe de la Crucifixion non loin du sommet. Un panorama s’ouvre ici non seulement pour les photographes. Si on ne le capture pas en photos, c’est certainement dans le souvenir de la visite au Kreuzberg.  Enfin, on revient au point de départ, le parking de randonnée Kreuzberg, par une prairie ouverte offrant de superbes vues.

Starting from the hiking parking lot at Kreuzberg, the trail leads directly to Kreuzberg and its sights. At the beginning, you reach the Bruder-Franz-Haus. In the on-site tourist information, you can learn about the mountain, local offers, and the tourist offerings of the low mountain range. There are also retreats for contemplation and a changing exhibition. A few meters later, the Kreuzberg monastery is reached. Especially because of this, the place is also named: Holy Mountain of the Franks. The monastery, with its church and brewery, has existed for several hundred years and is still a popular excursion destination in the Rhön. The next destination of the hike leads to the well-known crucifixion group near the summit. Not only for photographers, a panorama opens up here. If you don't capture it in photos, then surely in the memory of your visit to Kreuzberg. Finally, you return via an open meadow area with great views to the starting point, the hiking parking lot at Kreuzberg.
