Entlang des Segelfluggeländes geht es in Richtung des Naturschutzgebietes Schafstein. Dieses Geotop beeindruckt durch die größte Basaltblockhalde der Rhön. Die riesigen Blockhalden sind Überreste einer Vulkantätigkeit, durch die das Mittelgebirge in der Zeit des Tertiärs einst entstand. Nach dem Abstieg vom Schafstein geht es weiter zur St.-Martin-Kapelle am Ehrenberg. Diese von 2003-2005 durch private Hand erbaute Kapelle ist ein wahres Kleinod inmitten wunderbarer Natur. Das Schild über der Kapelle "Tritt ein - find Frieden" lädt ein, sich ganz auf die Stille in der Kapelle einzulassen, sich einfach seinen Gedanken und Gefühlen hinzugeben. Vor der Kapelle besteht die Möglichkeit eine kleine Rast einzulegen, bevor es dann mental und physisch gestärkt zum Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung zurück geht.

Along the glider airfield, the path leads towards the Schafstein nature reserve. This geotope impresses with the largest basalt block slope in the Rhön. The huge block slopes are remnants of volcanic activity through which the low mountain range once formed during the Tertiary period. After descending from Schafstein, continue to the St. Martin Chapel on Ehrenberg. This chapel, built privately between 2003-2005, is a true gem amidst wonderful nature. The sign above the chapel "Step in - find peace" invites you to fully immerse yourself in the silence of the chapel, simply giving in to your thoughts and feelings. In front of the chapel, there is the opportunity to take a short rest before mentally and physically strengthened returning to the starting point of the hike.

Le long du terrain de vol à voile, on se dirige vers la réserve naturelle Schafstein. Ce géotope impressionne par la plus grande halde de blocs basaltiques de la Rhön. Ces énormes haldes de blocs sont les vestiges d’une activité volcanique qui a donné naissance au massif moyen-cénozoïque à l’époque tertiaire. Après la descente du Schafstein, on poursuit vers la chapelle Saint-Martin sur l’Ehrenberg. Construite entre 2003 et 2005 par des mains privées, cette chapelle est un véritable joyau en pleine nature magnifique. L’inscription sur la chapelle « Entre, trouve la paix » invite à se plonger dans le silence, à se laisser porter par ses pensées et ses émotions. Devant la chapelle, il est possible de faire une petite pause avant de reprendre la randonnée, renforcé mentalement et physiquement, vers le point de départ.

After the descent, you walk along the Ehrenberg path, turn left to the Reulbach Cross, and continue downhill to the St. Martin Chapel. A wonderful place to rest and linger by the beautiful chapel. The path then continues past the natural pond (natural monument) and over the sports field back to Reulbach.
