Auf diesem ruhigen Rundwanderweg lernt man das Haardttal kennen. Zwischen der Wasserkuppe und Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe) erstreckt sich diese Wanderstrecke. Beginnend in Abtsroda führt der Weg die Wanderer vorbei an der Mariengrotte Abtsroda talabwärts. Am Südhang der Weiherkuppe wechselt die Landschaft entlang des Weges durch Wiesen und Wälder. Mit dem Ort Tränkhof hat man den tiefsten Punkt der Runde erreicht.  Von hier an beginnt der Weg wieder bergan zu führen und leitet über den Ort Sieblos zurück nach Abtsroda, dem Ausgangspunkt der Tour. Dort befindet sich eine Einkehrmöglichkeit für erholungssuchende Wanderer.

On this quiet circular hiking route, you get to know the Haardt valley. This hiking route stretches between the Wasserkuppe and Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe). Starting in Abtsroda, the path leads hikers past the Marien Grotto Abtsroda downhill along the valley. At the southern slope of the Weiherkuppe, the landscape along the path changes through meadows and woods. With the village of Tränkof, you reach the lowest point of the route. From there, the path starts to go uphill again and leads over the village Sieblos back to Abtsroda, the starting point of the route. There is a place to rest for hikers seeking relaxation.

Sur ce sentier circulaire tranquille, on découvre la vallée de la Haardt. Cette randonnée s'étend entre la Wasserkuppe et Poppenhausen (Wasserkuppe). En partant d'Abtsroda, le chemin conduit les randonneurs devant la grotte de Marie d'Abtsroda en descendant la vallée. Sur le versant sud de la Weiherkuppe, le paysage change le long du chemin entre prairies et forêts. Avec le village de Tränkof, on atteint le point le plus bas du parcours.  Le chemin commence alors à remonter et passe par le village de Sieblos pour revenir à Abtsroda, point de départ du parcours. Là, une possibilité de restauration attend les randonneurs en quête de détente.

Auf Höhe des kleinen Ortes Steinwand biegt man rechts in Richtung Poppenhausen ab. Nur wenige Hundert Meter hinter dem Ortseingang biegt man links auf die Groenhoffstraße ab. Wer möchte folgt der Beschilderung bis zur Wasserkuppe und kann von dort die Wanderung beginnen.</p> <p>Die A66 verlässt man über die Ausfahrt 54 Eichenzell und fährt anschließend auf die L3307 in Richtung Rönshausen / Poppenhausen auf. In Weyhers biegt man rechts auf die Fuldaer Straße und bei dem Ortsausgang wieder links in die Straße Lüttertal (L3307). Auf dieser erreicht man Poppenhausen. In Poppenhausen biegt man links auf die Burgstraße ab und kurz später rechts auf die Groenhoffstraße. Dieser Straße folgend erreicht man Abtsroda und den oberhalb der Ortschaft liegenden Wanderparkplatz. Wer möchte folgt der Beschilderung bis zur Wasserkuppe und kann von dort die Wanderung beginnen.</p>

Die A66 verlässt man über die Ausfahrt 54 Eichenzell und fährt anschließend auf die L3307 in Richtung Rönshausen / Poppenhausen auf. In Weyhers biegt man rechts auf die Fuldaer Straße und bei dem Ortsausgang wieder links in die Straße Lüttertal (L3307). Auf dieser erreicht man Poppenhausen. In Poppenhausen biegt man links auf die Burgstraße ab und kurz später rechts auf die Groenhoffstraße. Dieser Straße folgend erreicht man Abtsroda und den oberhalb der Ortschaft liegenden Wanderparkplatz. Wer möchte folgt der Beschilderung bis zur Wasserkuppe und kann von dort die Wanderung beginnen.
