Vom Spielzeug Hotel Sonneberg geht es in den Sonneberger Ortsteil Bettelhecken. Dort wechselt man auf den Radweg in Richtung Neustadt bei Coburg. Diesem Weg folgt man und erreicht den Sonneberger Ortsteil Hönbach und anschließend bereits Wildenheid, einen Ortsteil von Neustadt bei Coburg. Durch einen schattigen kleinen Park hindurch führt der idyllische Weg bis nach Neustadt bei Coburg hinein. Dort geht man entlang der Hauptstraße bis zu den Bahnschienen, wo man zur Firma Inge-Glas abbiegt. Von hier an wandert man entlang dem Radweg "Iron Curtain Trail" in Richtung Coburg weiter. Dieser Weg führt entlang des Eisernen Vorhangs, der Europa in Ost und West trennte. Auf diesem Stück lässt es sich zwischen Wald und Wiesen auf gemütlichen Sitzgruppen hervorragend pausieren und ein Lunchpaket genießen. Nach einigen Kilometern erreicht man den Zielort Rödental, wo man immer weiter entlang des Radweges wandert, der sich wie ein grünes Band durch die Stadt schlängelt. Vorbei am Spielzeugunternehmen Zapf Creation entdeckt man den Bahnhof Rödental Mitte. Sobald man in die Kronacher Straße eingebogen ist, entdeckt man auch schon bald den Brauereigasthof Grosch, den Zielort der 3. Etappe.

Depuis l'hôtel de jouets Sonneberg, on se dirige vers le quartier de Sonneberg, Bettelhecken. Là, on rejoint la piste cyclable en direction de Neustadt bei Coburg. On suit ce chemin et atteint le quartier de Sonneberg, Hönbach, puis Wildenheid, un quartier de Neustadt bei Coburg. Le chemin idyllique traverse un petit parc ombragé avant d’entrer dans Neustadt bei Coburg. On longe ensuite la rue principale jusqu’aux voies ferrées, où l’on tourne vers l’entreprise Inge-Glas. À partir de là, on marche le long de la piste cyclable « Iron Curtain Trail » en direction de Coburg. Ce chemin suit l’ancienne frontière du rideau de fer qui séparait l’Europe en Est et Ouest. Sur ce tronçon, il est très agréable de faire une pause sur des bancs confortables entre forêt et prairies et de savourer un sandwich. Après quelques kilomètres, on atteint la destination Rödental, où l’on continue toujours le long de la piste cyclable, qui serpente comme un ruban vert à travers la ville. En passant devant l’entreprise de jouets Zapf Creation, on découvre la gare Rödental Mitte. Dès que l’on emprunte la Kronacher Straße, on aperçoit bientôt le Brauereigasthof Grosch, lieu d’arrivée de la troisième étape.

This path runs along the Iron Curtain, which divided Europe into East and West. Along this section, you can take a great break on comfortable seating areas between forest and meadows and enjoy a packed lunch. After a few kilometers, you reach the destination Rödental, where you continue hiking along the bike path, which meanders like a green band through the city. Passing the toy company Zapf Creation, you discover the Rödental Mitte train station. As soon as you turn into Kronacher Straße, you will soon also spot the Brauereigasthof Grosch, the destination of the 3rd stage.
