„Dr. Malade-Weg“ – Dr. Theo Malade (1869–1944) war Arzt und Schriftsteller und lebte zuletzt in Helmershausen. Auf dem Gipfel der Hohen Geba, unweit der Meininger Hütte des Rhönklubs ist ein Aussichtspunkt mit herrlichem und weitem Rundumblick. Nach dem Neidhardskopf gelangen wir durch den Wald zur Wilhelmsruh mit natürlicher Stille und friedlichem Blick. Auf sanften Wegen wird der Dr. Malade Gedenkstein erreicht. Hier haben wir wieder eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Nun erreichen wir den Rhönfrieden, ein idyllischer Platz mit Schutzhütte und Fernsicht auf die Hohe Rhön, ein wirklich markanter Aussichtspunkt, mit einzigartiger Weitsicht. Spätestens hier wird jedem die Bedeutung zur Rhön, als das Land der weiten Fernen klar. Über diesem Punkt laufen viele Wanderwege, es ist schlicht ein herrlicher Platz zum Verweilen. Nun folgt der Ort Geba mit der in der Region einzigartigen Fachwerkkirche. Nach Geba, sanft ansteigend, gelangen wir wieder zurück zum Startpunkt, den Gipfel der Hohen Geba. « Chemin Dr. Malade » – Le Dr Theo Malade (1869–1944) était un médecin et écrivain qui a vécu à Helmershausen. Au sommet de la Hohe Geba, non loin de la cabane Meininger du Rhönklub, se trouve un point de vue avec une vue panoramique splendide et étendue. Après le Neidhardskopf, nous traversons la forêt jusqu'à Wilhelmsruh, lieu de calme naturel et de vue paisible. Sur des chemins doux, on atteint la pierre commémorative du Dr Malade. Ici, nous avons encore une très belle vue. Nous atteignons ensuite le Rhönfrieden, un endroit idyllique avec un abri et une vue dégagée sur la Hohe Rhön, un point de vue vraiment remarquable avec une vue panoramique unique. C’est ici que chacun comprend l’importance de la Rhön, ce pays des grandes étendues. De nombreux sentiers de randonnée passent par ce point, c’est tout simplement un lieu merveilleux pour se détendre. Suit ensuite le village de Geba avec son église à colombages unique dans la région. “Dr. Malade Trail” – Dr. Theo Malade (1869–1944) was a doctor and writer who last lived in Helmershausen. At the summit of the Hohe Geba, not far from the Meininger Hut of the Rhön Club, there is a viewpoint with a magnificent and wide panoramic view. After the Neidhardskopf, we walk through the forest to Wilhelmsruh with natural silence and a peaceful view. On gentle paths, the Dr. Malade memorial stone is reached. Here we again have a very beautiful view. Next, we reach the Rhönfrieden, an idyllic spot with a shelter and distant views of the Hohe Rhön, a really striking viewpoint with unique vistas. By this point, everyone understands the importance of the Rhön as the land of wide distances. Many hiking trails converge here; it is simply a wonderful place to linger. Then follows the village of Geba with the regionally unique half-timbered church. After Geba, gently ascending, we return to the starting point, the summit of the Hohe Geba.
