Ein schöner abwechslungsreicher Winterwanderweg durch den Thüringer Wald. Ideal geeignet für Familien, auch mit kleinen Kindern oder Senioren. Es gibt auf diesem schönen Winterwanderweg keine zu steilen Anstiege. Stellenweise ist der Wanderweg leicht hügelig durch einen fichtenbestandenen Hochwald. Die Wirtsleute im Forsthaus Sattelbach begrüßen Sie mit guter Thüringer Küche und selbstgebackenem Kuchen. Mit ein wenig Glück können Sie hier auch, aus den Fenstern des Gastraumes, das Rotwild unseres Waldes beobachten bzw. bei dessen Fütterung zusehen. Einen weiteren Teil des Winterwanderweges legen Sie auf dem original Rennsteig zurück, folgen Sie dabei immer dem "R", dieses markiert den Rennsteig. Auch die bewegte Geschichte in unserer Region kommt hierbei nicht zu kurz, ob aus den alten Zeiten das Denkmal Rondell oder aus der jüngeren Vergangenheit der markierte Punkt der Tunnelquerung von der Thüringer Wald-Autobahn auf dem Rennsteig. Eine gemütliche Tour geeignet für die ganze Familie.

A beautiful varied winter hiking trail through the Thuringian Forest. Ideally suited for families, including with small children or seniors. There are no steep climbs on this lovely winter hiking trail. In places, the trail is gently hilly through spruce forest. The hosts at the Sattelbach forester's house welcome you with good Thuringian cuisine and homemade cake. With a bit of luck, you can also watch the red deer of our forest from the dining room windows, or watch their feeding. You cover part of the winter hiking trail on the original Rennsteig; always follow the "R" which marks the Rennsteig. The eventful history of our region is not neglected, whether from old times the Rondel monument or from the more recent past the marked point of the tunnel crossing of the Thuringian forest motorway on the Rennsteig. A cozy route suitable for the whole family.

Un joli sentier de randonnée hivernale varié à travers la forêt de Thuringe. Idéal pour les familles, y compris avec de jeunes enfants ou des seniors. Ce beau sentier de randonnée hivernale ne comporte pas de montées trop raides. Par endroits, le chemin est légèrement vallonné à travers une forêt de sapins d'altitude. Les hôtes de la maison forestière Sattelbach vous accueillent avec une bonne cuisine thuringienne et des gâteaux faits maison. Avec un peu de chance, vous pouvez aussi observer le grand gibier de notre forêt depuis les fenêtres de la salle de restaurant, ou regarder le nourrissage. Vous parcourez une autre partie du sentier de randonnée hivernale sur le Rennsteig original, en suivant toujours le "R" qui le marque. L'histoire remarquable de notre région n'est pas en reste, qu'il s'agisse de l'ancien monument Rondell ou du point marqué de la traversée du tunnel de l'autoroute de la forêt de Thuringe sur le Rennsteig. Une promenade agréable adaptée à toute la famille.

Arrivés au Rennsteig, nous suivons ce sentier à droite, et après un court tronçon, nous arrivons à l'endroit où le tunnel de l'autoroute de la forêt de Thuringe passe en dessous de nous, caché dans les montagnes de la forêt de Thuringe. Nous suivons le reste du chemin le long du Rennsteig original et passons peu avant la fin de notre promenade par le jardin du Rennsteig, d'où nous apercevons déjà notre point de départ, le Rondel.
